Why? Taking a knee when they know we could have scored again is more humiliating and gives us sportsmanship cred.

Taking a knee right at their goal line is more humiliating to me. Sort of says, "We could've made it look worse than it already is but we won't be that team...."

and it's good sportsmanship. Dabo would run it up as high as he could but then again, look at their schedule. It's the eye test.

There's no need for us to do it. Look at who we've played and beaten. We had nothing else to prove.

IF Cade had not missed his FG, he would be been at 9 points in the game, and he needed 11 for the "most points scored in a season" record...

So, do you think EdO would've let him kick the chip-shot FG, instead of kneeling, if that was the situation?
I would guess "yes", and would have apologized for "running up the score" and explained post game that he wanted Cade York to get the scoring record...

If Jefferson doesn’t drop that third down pass he walks into the end zone. Chase had the block on the one defender in front of him.

Thinking back, now I wish we would have pulled Joe for the last kneel down so he could’ve gotten one last ovation.

Considering my score prediction was 50-24, yes 49-25 would have looked really good. My selfishness aside, I was fine with the victory formation.

I honestly dont think Clemson was the best team we played. I think Bama was better. Hell Auburn and Florida put up a better fight. Even Texas fought harder than Clemson. Im just reflecting.

No. We’re already in the playoffs so, it’s not like we needed it to help us get into playoffs. No reason not to take a knee

As much as I’d like to put up more points... victory formation in the biggest game of the year is better!

If I remember correctly, this was all set up by Edwards-Helaire play when he slid to the ground after converting a critical third down when he could have kept running. Extremely heady play by him. (Wasn't it the second time this year that he did that?) Anyway, it was obvious that we were not trying to score again, just end in Victory Formation near their goal line.

I loved it!!

Yeah...when Chase missed that over the shoulder grab in the EZ. No....on scoring a td with a minute to go. Now, had Clyde gotten into the EZ on that run to the left that got inside the 5 yard line, I wouldn’t have been disappointed had he scored. O did the right thing in going into Victory formation....respect your competitors. JMO

I wanted to destroy them.

Leave no hope.

Let there be no discussion of what if.

Take their recruits.

There is a part of me that wanted chase to catch that one in the end zone and for us to punch that last one in for 56. But then I remember we won in victory formation for the natty. Doesn't matter.

Clemson RUTS on NCSt this year in a 49-10 game with 22 secs left to win 55-10.

We should done the same to them.

Taking the knee allows the coach and the program to take the high road and reap dividends from the decision. A number of talking heads have showered LSU with praise for the sportsmanship.

Additionally, if there is a need to insult, then there is no bigger insult than to say, "you're beaten. We don't need any more".

Would've been nice to give something else for the Tigernet crybabies to whine about...
