Texas A$M and Mizzou are not real SEC teams. Discuss.

The SEC could have added teams that we gave a shite about...but no. These 2 teams are not like the others...these 2 teams don't belong.
And the years don't change my mind.

A&M is a better fit than Mizzou.

Not sure what culture you feel A&M lacks.

But I would have traded Mizzou with GT in a heartbeat.

Mizzou is literally only here for the money involved in the St. Louis media market.

How old are you? A&M And LSU have a very long history with a respectable series record. They’ve played nearly 60 times. I can only speak starting from the mid 80’s due to age, but the outcome of the A&M game used to set the tone for the season.

The fact that the SEC doesn’t have a team from North Carolina and Virginia grates my OCD.

A&M is easily my second favorite SEC school, and absolutely love the unique traditions that they bring to the conference.

Take out Missouri and throw in Miami or Florida St to the east.

A&M is fine. Adding one of those two Florida teams give the East a more likely chance of having 3 ranked teams every year like the West.

Why not Baylor. Pretty good in the big 3 men's sports, great in WBB, and would give the conference an academic boost.

FSU also belings in the SEC.

It’s about the TV market and money. Nothing else.

Check the payout, they fit fine.

Always funny to me the fans wanting to dump crappy teams and add really good ones. I mean, winning the SEC is already incredibly difficult. You want less of a shot to win national titles?

A&M didn’t seem like a good fit at first, but they’re certainly a more natural choice.

Mizzou? I understand why the SEC did it (wanted the KC and St. Louis TV markets), but even now, it feels like West Virginia would’ve been a better fit in the East.
