Highly doubt he would take that job.

Would it be a good hire if Pelini did come? It seems as though we actually do want him and no fans seem particularly excited at that idea. I didn’t think he liked recruiting

I can't discuss names, but there is a clear frontrunner, and we have made the offer. Ball is in his court right now.

Richard would turn down his alma mater? Considering he’s the only rumored person we’ve interviewed I assume it is his court the ball is in

I don’t think I’d be too thrilled with Pelini

ETA: but it could be worse. The guys a good coach. Just seems “old school”

I really hope it's not Richards. Cowboy fans were absolutely thrilled when he left them.

I wouldn’t be upset, but he is going to have to tell USC no first. Cowboys would have failed regardless of who the DC was. The entitlement of the fans is terrible. Other than the Dline and 1 line backer, their personnel sucked.

I’m warming to Pelini. Didn’t realize he won 9 or 10 games every year as head coach at Nebraska with some really good defenses. They’d give their collective left nut for that kind of success there now.
