Minny: Allen Crabbe

Atlanta: Teague, Treveon Graham

Let the Minnesota fire sale commence, this was a straight tank trade

Is Robert Covington crewz favorite player?
Pels talk has been obsessed with this average player for a long time

But what about the Cleveland picks and Frank Jackson? Remember, Frank rhymes with Tank

He is an average player, and he's paid an average salary. His +/- stats say he's much more than an average player though.

The fact that you think Covington is an average player let's me know to not take an of your post as anything of value

He'd be a good fit for almost any team and provide a lot of value / make other players around him better. But his career PER is a 13 and last two years PER is 14.5. That's average by definition

Yea RoCo is much more valuable than an average player and he fills a role that this team desperately needs.

This proves my point.
People in here have an oddly high opinion of an average player. He rebounds and plays decent defense. Doesn’t shoot particularly well. Can’t handle the ball. Not bad. But average.

I'm curious as to how we look tonight without Jrue..

I know Griffin wouldn't do it, but I would seriously consider it if I were in his shoes. GS's timeline really doesn't match with anything Minnesota has outside of Wiggins or Towns

Minny: Russel, Miller

GS: Jrue

Pels: Crabbe (buyout), Covington, Culver, 2020 Minny 1st, 2020 Warriors 1st

I don't think Jrue would fetch all of this

I think one of those assets would have to go to GSW to even get the convo started

With what assets? GS is not going to want Wiggins. KAT is the only thing they have, but they want to pair Russell with KAT.

Jrue is better than Russel and fits alongside Curry and Klay better than Russel. This is exactly the kind of move GS had in mind when they signed him.

We may not be able to get Warriors 1st, but I would want at least 2 1sts no matter who they come from.

But if you think Jrue wouldn't fetch that, you haven't been paying attention to trades lately

but you basically asked for 3 top 10 picks for Jrue, one of the being very likely in the top 4, the other in the top 10, and the other being Culver, a top 10 pick. That's a lot for Jrue. Culver and Minny's 1st is enough imo. GSW's 1st has a lot more value than those other two, assuming it's unprotected.

And every single time I've proposed a Jrue trade it's an overpay, which is exactly what it will take to get him.

If Minnesota really wants to keep KAT happy, they will overpay to get Russel alongside him

Russell will be far harder to acquire now with crabbe than it would have been with Teague. Crabbe can’t be aggregated

I have no idea what Minnesota is doing
