Anyone who says they thought the game would end up the way it did after watching the first quarter of that game is straight up fricking lying. We got our asses handed to us in that first quarter and it was looking like it was aboutto go south real fast. Thankfully the guys responded very well, got their shite together, and started laying the wood that we all had grown accustomed to seeing them do.

Nope. Most of the analysts and a lot of fans said that clemson would do things to confuse LSU and it would take a while to figure it out. Once they figured it out LSU started skull dragging clemson. People who know football never panicked.

I had zero doubt at any point that LSU would win. I knew the floodgate was going to open as soon as Joe figured out the different looks he was getting.
They were always going to do whatever it took to win.

What a pathetic attempt to save face! The offense just had to tweak some adjustments with their blitzes and people pissing themselves as if they haven’t watched all year!! I swear some people on here are a bunch of bandwagon, non football knowing cry babies

Play book gets drastically cut down when we are backed up that much. Once Burrow gets some breathing room he is going assassin mode and we will get all that back plus some before half, bet.”
I can proudly say that JB9 helped me win a fantastic BJ that night from wifey.

The point everyone is making is that this was the SECOND QUARTER! We knew this would be a tough matchup. Venables was going to throw as much at us as he could... and he did. It took time to adjust. But some of you jumped ship in the 2nd quarter instead of simply waiting for things to unfold. That's weak-minded.

I thought it would. I knew it would. I watched every game this season. I looked at the faces of the players particularly Burrow. Being down was going to fuel him big time which was going to fuel everyone else. I also knew we'd make adjustments and we would pull ahead in a big way. That's exactly what happened.
