We know this has been beat to death all day yesterday about Tepper...he is filthy rich and LSU wont be able to compete with that...use the search button

Hey-if he goes-he goes! His talent has put him in this position. If the Tigers win the NC-It will be easier for him!!

The Carolina HC & Brady have the same agent, so this was expected. Smart to leverage one against the other to max a contract. I really do not read anything into an interview. He would do that regardless of where he was working. If the Tiger contract includes an “OC in waiting” clause, guessing he stays in BR for awhile.

Oh, I’m sorry you are too stupid to understand the ramifications of this.

Why is he an NFL guy? He’s been involved in college football way more than NFL.

Yeah, I mean the saints had a high power offense before and after Brady. I just think it’s a combination of him being really good at his job and LSU actually opening up to the idea of passing for a change.

Let’s get this straight. Brady didn’t “run” this offense. Sure, he had plenty of input, influence and design, but I have full confidence in the rest of the staff to keep this juggernaut rolling. Steve E is smarter than he’s been given credit. I believe a lot of what we’ve seen this year was because O loosened up the reigns and allowed the offensive coaches freedom to let it fly. Plus Burrow of course!

Ultimately if he wants to coach in the NFL, he would go. NFL isn’t a 365 day a year grind with recruiting like college is so if that’s where he wants to be, dude earned it. I’m fine with it.

Right, if he wants to be an NFL guy he will go. That’s different from saying he is an NFL guy.

He hasnt come out and said what his preference is, so all this bullshite is just speculation.
If his ultimate goal is to be a hc in college, being an oc in the nfl would do nothing to help him achieve that goal.
Now, if he his ultimate aspiration is to be an nfl hc......

If LSU loses Brady then this will be on Woodward for not extending him three months ago.
Why don’t you try thinking for 5 minutes? Put yourself in Brady’s position, and assume Woodward had “extended you” 3 months ago. Further, assume it was for $1.5 million per year.
Now, this rich owner comes along and offers you $2.5 million per year. What do you do? And what difference does it make that Woodward extended your contract 3 months ago, as opposed to reacting to the interview news by offering you $1.5 million per year? You’re still deciding between $1.5 and $2.5.
Also, the head coach’s agent is the same as Brady’s. This interview is a favor to his agent to burnish Brady’s stock. They’re not going to offer an NFL OC position to Brady.

Relax. If he's gone, he's gone.
I can't imagine a defensive coach wants a guy who five months ago had never put together game plan, to be his head offensive guy. I'm not saying it can't happen - we've seen plenty of head scratchers from some really smart people in the NFL before.
Now, that doesn't mean he doesn't bring in an OC and also offer Brady a ton of money as the WR coach, etc.
Brady is in a great spot at LSU - and I think he realizes it. He gets a ton of input, is building tremendous skills he didn't have before, all while it all isn't all on him.
If the Panthers offer him 3m to be the OC, nothing we can do about it no matter what contract he has or hasn't signed with LSU.

Even if he was extended 3 months ago, dont you think the "rich prick" would pay the payout just like he did with Rhule?

You do realize that same owner is paying Ruhle’s $6M buyout to Baylor.
Do you think he would blink at the paltry buyout a college OC has??

focus on the game Monday. Things will work out. Lsu is bigger than Brady and has proven that many times. This is the 3rd straight LSU coach to take LSU to a tile game. Think about that.

Let me make this clear, if the panthers want him then he is gone. This is the worst possible team that could interview Brady. There is no way LSU could possibly match their price.

He’s a yankee, and the nfl is the pinnacle of a coaches career. College football means nothing to people in the northeast and he’s one of them. If you don’t think he’ll be on an nfl team next year, you’re in denial.
Half the teams in the nfl will be after this guy, he’s had the most remarkable season ever in college football.

I’d imagine since the Panthers HC and Brady share the same agent, it’s probably a smart move by the agent to get his client and interview. It will not only help him, further down the road by showing him how the whole process works, but it will also probably allow Brady to squeeze a few extra bucks out of LSU. I’d be surprised to see Carolina offer their OC job to someone who has never run an offensive by himself...that would be a pretty big gamble.
