Why were LSU buses headed back to Baton Rouge?

Heading East on I-10 this evening I passed the team buses going north around LaPlace. Why were they coming back?

Maybe it's a dumb question, but wouldn't the buses need to be in NOLA to shuttle the players to and from places while they're there?

Last time we kept the buses in NO, we crossed the 50 yard line once. Good idea to send the buses back

You use BR busses to get them there. Once in town you use a local company that has local parking, maintenance, drivers, fuel pumps, etc.

At least one Clemson fan thinks we're fighting jet lag already. Bikes wouldn't make it worse.
