For those of y’all going to New Orleans this weekend you’ll most likely see Clemson fans with stamped $2 bills or get some as change. Here’s the story behind it.

LINK

TLDR. In 70s GT refused to agree to home and home series with Clemson. Last game in ATL Clemson fans traveled with $2 bills to show economic impact of playing Clemson

Well isn't that adorable.

We have a tradition when we travel too.

We show our economic impact by drinking the city dry.

Sounds pretty gay, but it’s Clemson so seems legit.

You can’t claim to be an economic engine and just little ole Clemson, pick one, can’t have it both ways

Well, that is about the dumbest thing I have ever heard. The kind of thing I would keep secret and make sure to do my best to discourage.

Y'all are still worried about GT from 40 years ago?

Thing is, this is not hyperbole, it has actually happened.

Wait. In Columbia when we played USCe all the strip clubs gave change in $2 bills, it was genius.
