Maybe I'm overthinking it, but that flight took off after the Iranian missile attacks. It was surely common knowledge at that point, that the airspace over Tehran, certainly, and really throughout the region was a very, very dangerous place to be. How would any airline not ground that and any other flights until there could be a significant safety assessment? I just don't get it.
