Just to confirm: you expect the #1 scoring defense in the nation to hold LSU to 1 point below their season average and give up the most points since 2013 vs FSU.

Ya'll realize that a healthy Clemson defense is a bit different than a bad OU defense that is missing 2/3 of their starting secondary, right?

It's been a long time since I've seen a fanbase so confident in their offense after having their way with Oklahoma. Almost a full 12 months...

If Clemson can get pressure with 4 they win, if not they lose.

No different than, Auburn, Florida and Alabama. Y'all should have lost to UNC!

Yeah man we're only looking at the OU game, not the 13 other we completely dominated offensively.

Your scoring defense is a fraud stat seeing as you've played no one. Last time we played a top scoring defense, we put up 37 and it should've been 47.

Just to confirm you do realize that #1 scoring defense was built against the weakest conference in football...

Your D, statiscally at least is about like Georgia. We put up almost 40 on them, and weren't really trying for most of the second half. If it had been necessary, we could have put up 50+. That is what is coming Clemson's way, so if you want a shot of winning, your offense better be able to match it. I don't think they will.

I don’t know how many points LSU will score, but there are 2 problems with the season average:

1. It’s a new system that the team has gotten better at running as the season has gone on.

2. They’ve shut it down in the 3rd quarter in most games.

LSU is playing at a higher level than they have all season. Actually they’re playing at a higher level than anyone has in any season. I think they’ll play their best game of the year on Monday. I also think that Clemson will pose a threat late into the game, which will mean LSU will want to keep scoring late in the game.

If LSU stays under 40, it will be because Clemson couldn’t keep up, ala UGA.

Today I learned from our resident Clemson posters that LSU will lose the football game because LSU fans watched the game between LSU and Oklahoma

This is bullet-proof logic, I can’t see how anyone could possibly refute that line of reasoning!

The reason why we're so confident is that this same exact thing has been said all season long. First, it was Florida. Then, Auburn. Then, Bama. Then, Georgia.

You silly sons of bitches think you're the first team to lay that on us this season? Granted, you do play in the shitty ACC so I guess it makes sense that you would think that. However, in the SEC we have faced stout defenses over a 13 game sample size. I'll give you OU. That was an outlier with their injuries and suspensions.

Confirmed...By way of my bets. Also, since the stats show that LSU has put on one of the greatest displays of offense in college football history against defenses that have better defensive lineman who have played against much stronger competition than Clemson's "top rated defense", it is YOU who is delusional. I'd put our defense up against yours against the same competition we've played any day.

You realize this offense has had its way with 13 other teams this year as well, right?

List the offenses you played in the regular season and look up where they were ranked. If you weren’t ranked this highly, it would mean your defense is total trash.

Look at what you gave up to the first offense with a pulse that you played this season, just 2 weeks ago. Over 500 yards. Realize that LSU is better on offense across the board, especially in the passing game.

Look at your common opponent with LSU and the difference in scoring both ways.

Yes, we have concrete, factual evidence for our confidence. Do you, from this season at least?
