My nephew is in the band.
They are under the athletic department.
The athletic department gets fined.
From what he told me the athletic dept is fine with them playing neck, but not okay paying the fine, therefore they don't want neck played.

No one told LSU NOT to play Neck. Our AD decided to tell the Band not to play it. Woodward confirmed that decision when he took over. There is no fine for playing Neck or for our students chanting the associated vulgarity.

They played it in ATL right before kickoff vs OU and you see how that turned out. They’ll play it and it will be glorious.
