Oakpoint makes my favorite. Tried Rouses, Ambrosia, and Dong Phuong in New Orleans east. All are to rich for my liking.

Dong Phuong or Randazzos. Cinnamon OG king cakes only, GTFO with that cream cheese filled nastiness.

For you king cake aficionados, get one shipped to you from Lilah's in Shreveport. I know, I know. For most of y'all anything north of Ville Platte isn't worth eating. I've had cakes from all over the state and I'd put theirs up against any others.

Went by there last night 10 minutes before closing and there were 8 people in line, so I'm not the only one who thinks they're great.

Dong Phuong has the best king cakes. The line just isn't worth waiting in.

Convenient store down the street from my house goes and gets a limited amount and sells them for 5 more dollars. Worth paying and not having to stand in line.

Oakpoint was my first king cake since coming to Louisiana. I was spoiled and didn't know it.
