Joe Burrow's worst stat? Outside the Top 125. He needs some work.

From a different thread - snaps logged in the fourth quarter:

quote:

Burrow has logged only 95 snaps in the fourth quarter or overtime, which ranks outside the top 125 QBs nationally.

I usually never spin off a thread, but finding Joe's "bad" category deserved its own thread.

Needs better conditioning. Can't even finish a game.

But Clemson fans said we always leave Burrow in the game to pad his stats...

No matter how LSU plays Monday, there is no way Burrow is getting willingly pulled out before the confetti.

I wonder how many snaps he played after the 3rd quarter of the A&M game. May be more than the whole season.

I actually think that stat is more telling that you might imagine.

I mean, Brennan hasn't really gotten a TON of mop-up time this year. So...what are some possible reasons Joe playing so little in the 4th?

1. Because our D is so unmotivated at that point, they have trouble getting off the field?

2. Our D is gassed from being on the field the whole game after the 90 second, 80 yard drives by the O?
If this is the case, would we not see a corresponding first half time of possession disparity? Maybe there is one. I don't know.

I'm not being an arse. I think our D probaby fares better when there is a more evenly matched opponent. Captain Obvious but...it's a lot easier to keep your focus when you aren't up by 35 points at half. Regardless that gives me a lot of hope for Monday, even though stopping Etienne makes me a little nervous. I think it says that we have some pretty decent reserves to draw from.

Why can’t we find one decent quarterback who can manage the game for us.

And this is exactly why this Joe Brady crap will never work.

Les' QB's were always able to get quality snaps in the 4th quarter, even in rent-a-win games

This stat is crazy, especially when you consider that LSU has played more games than most teams have and that LSU generally runs a lot of offensive plays in a game.

Any place where we can find the stats for this? I want to see where all the other QBs placed.

Hopefully, the trend continues. Have it in hand & let Brennan clean up .....
except for the last snap. Send him in to take the last one in the V. The Tiger fans will bring down the roof !
