Those areas always get all the action. Tornado Alley's official "boundaries" should probably be updated to include these areas because it seems over the past 10 years or so many of the more intense tornadoes don't occur in Texas and the plains.

I agree. Maybe we just hear about these more and pay more attention because it affects us. Also most tornadoes in the plains usually only hit wide open farmland. Ms and Al are littered with rural small towns and homes o the point every tornado hits something. And a lot less people have shelters and preparation here compared to say Oklahoma
