Can someone name me one recruitment(yes, other than my moms)that has had more twist, turns, speculations, public apologies, story lines and been a bigger shite show than Zach Evans recruitment. This is fast becoming movie script material.

Collins shite show supreme

I can't remember his name, but there was a RB several years ago who had a very similar recruitment. I think he ended up at Oregon originally, but was a huge flop.
What about the guy that went to Oklahoma and ended up in jail? Is it always running backs?

Or Bryce Brown. They were both ridiculous and went to about 4 different schools.

Ya think? This cat might not even qualify to play D1 football and has been silently committed to half the schools in the sec and had his LOI denied by the school he chose all while being the top rated rb and a top ten player in the country. I recall Landon Collins's was just more sad and dissapointing than anything.

Lache Seastrunk would be my guess. Don't remember that being nearly this entertaining.
Noel Devine was interesting (another Deion Sanders connection).
Bryce Brown was fun.
But, no, I can't think of anyone that has hit this level of entertaining.

I was thinking of Seastrunk. Bryce Brown was a real gem, too. We also can't forget Willie Williams.

Personally Ive seen a bunch of shite-shows on this board. Maybe it's some of the posters here getting triggered by every little rumor.

All of them ultimately underwhelmed...

Dylan Moses was kind of a shite show to me. I remember him basically saying that if Les was fired he wasn’t coming here and some of our fan base got cold feet. I got banned from the recruiting board for a year because I said you never make a coaching decision based on one recruit or class. Then the little bitch started flirting with us right before signing day and deleted all his Bama stuff to make it look like he was gonna flip. Thank god he signed early or we would have likely never landed Jacob Phillips. Maybe not Patrick Queen either. Also he helped Bama recruit Chris Allen out of BR.
The whole university bent over backwards for “his majesty” for 6 years and he spurned us because he’s a groupie.
Bryce Brown was probably the biggest shite show I ever remember though.

quote:None of those were shite show recruitments. Literally none of those kids were ever committed anywhere. Tony Brown was the only one that told the staff he was committed. Willis was a head case and speedy was jealous of Leonard.
5 for 5
I remember speedy calling it “Leonard State University” too bad he wasn’t good enough to not get jobbed by Christian Kirk and he couldn’t lay off of Mary Jane.

This has gotten so bad that instead of committing to a school at a allstar game on national tv there was a need for a public apology. All joking aside its really sad that all this could have been avoided if he had some guidance and the right people around him to help get him through this.

This entire Rakim Jarrett one has really got on my nerves. He legit fricked with us for over a year. I have no problem with him choosing to stay home but the way he has acted since he signed with Maryland has really rubbed me the wrong way. We did nothing but support him and show appreciation for having him aboard.

I’d say Janzen Jackson gets an honorable mention
