Tweets that he’s “gonna make a lot of people pay in college”

Someone points out that that’s a Evans quote and he responds with

“Don’t compare me to him”

He’s been going in hard on Evans for days now. Any backstory there or is he just mad at us and other schools for prioritizing Evans over him?

He’s gonna kill those dudes in the PAC-12. Great pick up for Colorado.

I was always under the impression that if we would have prioritized him early he would’ve been ours. But I haven’t really followed his recruitment closely so was that not the case?

Regardless I don’t blame the coaches for aiming higher and I don’t blame him for wanting to be someone’s priority. Wish him the absolute best

He needs to let that go. You should never gain motivation or get your high off having more success than someone else. You lose sight of what’s important. Let’s say he’s nowhere near close to Evans.. then what, will he feel like a failure and show self pity?

I remember Noel Ellis and his uncle... it never ends well. Just go to Colorado and be the best you.

Not true LSU was actually his dream school, he even wanted to commit to us after his injury but understandably we refused to accept it!!

LSU or anyone would still love to take him. Where he goes is getting a thoroughbred. Natural talent and I hope he learns to develop and stay hungry. Best of luck to him

Evans comes across as immature.

Clayton comes across as motivated and disgusted by Evans’ immature actions.

We’ve all been saying the same shite about Evans so if Clayton is immature what does that say about everyone else

If I had to guess I'd say he's mad because he wanted LSU, but LSU wanted Evans more, but Evans played LSU, and now both he and LSU are going to be stuck with others rather than each other. Classic chick flick storyline.

At least Clayton can smoke weed at Colorado and not worry about pissing in a cup.

What? Boulder, Colorado area is beautiful if that’s where he ends up. Look LSU is a better football program but let’s not act like BR is a better place to live than Boulder.

Vibe I get also... I understand what was thought and why decision were made but really feel we screwed the pooch on this...

Recruiting really is rough on these HS kids and coaching staff...

Evans made a clown show of himself and recruiting around him. It's a shame.

Boulder is shitting on LSU as a place to live. Lived in both for 3 years a piece but I love Louisiana and LSU. Definitely not the middle of no where hahaha

Ashaad is not a drama queen. He continued to work hard and committed to a good program which is guaranteed to provide him better education than LSU. It is sad that the kid wanted to be a Tiger and we refused to accept his commitment. Of course , he would hate being compared to a doofus who doesn't even know where he wants to play ball.

My 18 year old self would’ve said some EXTREMELY unfortunate things if I had been Uber talented and had cameras shoved in my face like these guys. I’m genuinely surprised when I hear a high school star with a humble attitude.
