. I'm talking a typical polo, good quality brand, washed and worn once a week
Stop drying your nice clothes in a dryer, and hang dry. Your clothes will last much longer.

$100 says most people don't follow the "how to wash" instructions for their clothes then wonder why their stuff doesn't last.
Also, stop using your shirts as jizz rags

I just get all my polos at the Banana Republic outlet. They're like $16 so who cares if they only last a few months?
But I really don't wear polos all that often, so mine last me a year or two, at least. I have one I've had for 5 or 6 years.

I really like Untuckit shirts. They fit so much better than Sax 5th Avenue and Nordstrom Shirts

I still have some Abercrombie shirts from when I was younger. Those things could survive a nuclear strike.

I'm a simpleton so forgive me. I alwasy dry, never have hang dried stuff before. With shirts and hang drying, it seems like if you do that then the hangar will put little raised pointy spots in the shoulders while it's drying, is that not the case? Or do you use special hangars?

We use a drying rack that prevents that.
But I run most of mine through the dryer on low.

Stop washing them. Wear undershirts and hang back up at night. Dry clean a few times a year if needed. I do the same with pants.

No can do. I usually spill something on them at lunch.

If you buy the well-made brands, this will not happen.
