Few notes from the first half:

-tOSU came out AGGRESSIVE. Clemson had no answers for the first half.
-tOSU stayed aggressive, threw it on 3 and 12 ish from their own goal line. Never took their foot of the gas
-Clemson got caught trying to substitute several times. Two for big gains and one for 12 men on the field
-Clemson got absolutely gashed up the middle by Dobbins. He could have ran for 300 if he didn’t get hurt.
-Dobbins dropped (hit the ground) a wide open TD pass to go up by 17
-Dropped a wide open TD pass on a screen (7:31 in game time)
-Fields misses a few “easy” throws to convert
-Clemson defense is very good in the red zone, but tOSU missed out on TWO wide open TDs
-Clemson has the chance to pick off Fields twice, and missed out. They jumped a slant in the end zone and a crossing route over the middle of the field
-Vice versa, TL should have been picked off twice
-Their LB plays everything, and he is everywhere
-Their DL is strong, but slow. OSU held a strong pocket and gave fields time. Fields felt pressure though and rushed it
-Trevor is tough to tackle, he is a big boy. OSU got him a few times behind the line
-TL really struggled with the zone defense
-Clemson likes to run outside and TE is fast
-Clemson converted several 3 and short with a QB keeper. TL was not scared to get hit. He dropped his shoulder and played big boy football.
-OSU DL got through the Clemson o-line a lot.
-Wade targeting on the TL is suspect at best. Clemson should have had to punt 4 and 13 with 5 minutes left in the first half
-Clemson’s first TD should have been a TFL. TE ran through 6 guys

tOSU had 300+ yards in the first half

Still 7:00 to go in the second quarter

as a Clemson fan I hate the targeting rule unless it is obviously intentional which that wasn't. It was, by definition on the rule the, the correct call.

Yeah it was by the rules a good call. Two things with the call. If an offensive player ducks down causing the targeting I do not think a player should be ejected. But at the same time tOSU defender should have tackled with his head up. When you lower your head you can’t see what you are hitting and it’s dangerous for the person making the hit.

Yeah, the spearing clyde took looked intentional, that one was less "intentional"...

That's somewhat on coaching, if his face is up, no problems...good job Coach Day

i will add to yours since you covered most of it

1) osu DL did a poor job of staying in gaps when rushing, it allowed TL to run between tackles. LSU did a great job plugging gaps against OU keeping hurts contained.

2) clemson had TDs on 3 huge plays. run by TL, screen to TE and jump pass to TE. limit big plays and force them to drive field on long gives gives us more shots at stopping them.

As a fan of any team I hate it. If not some intentional intent to hurt the ejection part should disappear. You simply cannot control the elevation of players and how they may contact each other at the speed these guys play.
