Going for a few days next month. Any good suggestions on restaurants and things to do?

My advice...go to another city in Texas.

nah man SA is a great city.
tons of stuff to do, relatively clean and safe and the food is tremendous
OP there’s a bunch of threads here do a search. The south Alamo area has a bunch of great restaurants and bars as well as many other areas. Also if you have a car the BBQ promised land is an hour East on I10

Yes, the sewage ditch running thru town really is a tourist attraction

Here right now. Not the coolest place but there’s some good stuff.
Hotel Emma+ its bar is a must. Spectacular spot. The Pearl District is a cool part of town.
The river walk is littered with tourists but Soho is a great bar and Esquire Tavern is a good spot as well.

Boudro's on the Riverwalk get the Shrimp and Grits. And near the Alamo go to LaPanaderia Bakery Café for breakfast or lunch. Really good place.

La Fogata is the best authentic Mexican restaurant in SA.

The Esquire-get the Old Fashioned
Pioneer flour company has a breakfast place. Can’t remember the name.
SA is a long weekend kind of place for me.
