Will LSU fans actually show up in the Dome?

Or will this be a repeat of 1/9 when it was 70% Bama. We know fans will hype the game and talk about “paintin dat town purple and gold.” But the reality is that tickets are expensive. Will the fans actually back the talk or will the Dome be orange on 1/13?

Well, I bought overpriced tickets yesterday on StubHub, so I'll be there.
It will be interesting to see how much demand there is from Clemson fans. They won last year and have been to the playoffs so frequently.

It was definitely not 60/40 LSU. It was at best 50/50, but more likely 55/45 Bama

This is a mythology of this game that pisses me off to no end. Yes, it was a shitty day and a lot went wrong.
The crowd was 60-40 LSU. Alabama obviously had more to cheer about.

The mythology is that LSU fans outnumbered Bama fans. I don’t know if the lackluster turnout was due to fatigue from beating them earlier in the season or the allure of turning tricks on the corner and flipping tickets to Bama fans at a hefty markup. This myth needs to stop. I was there too, yes the Bama fans were way louder and by the end it was at least 70% Bama. To start the game it was majority LSU, 60/40ish, we just never had anything to cheer about...

I’m 2-0 being in attendance at NCGs. Was at OU and OSU. Was at the ESPN zone restaurant on the Boardwalk at Disney when we played Bama in ‘11

I wasn’t at the game, but I remember the announcers saying they were shocked that Bama seemed to out number LSU fans
