So whatever happened to Milo?

Is he even alive?

Was that the gay dude with the funny hair talking in college campuses? I don’t think Trump liked the way he looked so they took him off the circuit.

His opportunism ran its course.

He talked positively of pedophilia.

More specifically, he talked about the hush-hush "secret" that a lot of homosexuals have their first sexual experience in their early teens with much older men.

Yep. He was a victim of the old "dead girl or live boy" adage.
Good riddance, IMHO

He told his truth and was punished for it even though his experience is not unusual.
Progs simply hated him because he spoke from a conservative point of view.

Good riddance gone. Dude was a POS.

I have my doubts about his sincerity, honestly. I think he (and those who promoted him) realized that there was a potential viewer/reader/listener market for a blatant flamer with conservative views.

he's borderline bankrupt and was complaining about his supporters not supporting him financially, recently
he was fun but got way too famous and pushed things too far (b/c once you're a provocateur, that's what you do) and ran out of a shtick

Yeah. He's had some funny moments but, Brandon Straka and Scott Pressler are better and more genuine representatives for the gay, conservative community. Pressler especially doesn't get enough praise for his cleanup work.

While the topic was provocative, I always found it ironic that the bit that did him in was a rare moment of sincerity

For most people, conspicuous sexuality makes them uncomfortable. That is amplified when it is homosexual in nature. That may not be PC to say, but that is the truth.
I think many folks on the right liked the “idea” of having a Milo on their side. But the vast majority didn’t like Milo in reality. They just needed an excuse to dump him and they found it with the pedo scandal.

He was deplatformed and has no way to get his message out.

I agree with all of this. Pressler is a great example of how to be an effective conservative activist. He's a great follow on Twitter.

The comments about the priest teaching him to give great head were really flippant and off the cuff but anytime he was forced to discuss it afterward he seemed very sheepish. Ashamed even. Body language is far from an exact science but I really got the impression that he was never molested by a priest but he had no way to walk back the remark. Live by the off the cuff remark, die by the off the cuff remark. I thought he was often hilarious, especially the way he brutalized hecklers. But there were occasionally panels looking for sincere and respectful dialogue and the insults were really all he had.

He was becoming too much of a gateway drug to the Alt right so they had to shut him down. The Alt lite is supposed to function within the kosher sandwich of left and “right” but you had a Milo to Mike Enoch pipeline that the powers that be couldn’t let continue.
