I worry about Jalen Hurts ability to scramble and keep it a close game. I don't think their defense will be able to Stop LSU though. As long as LSU doesn't turn the ball over several times, come out slow, and get behind a large amount. As long as that doesn't happen LSU will win this one easy.

Truthfully, I could see this happening a lot like the Texas game did. OU does enough to keep it from being a blowout and maybe look half way close in the end, while LSU does enough to win.

Jalen Hurts can be a real problem. We have never intimidated him.He has big game experience and if they can control time of possession and stay in the game when the 4th quarter starts, our playoff inexperience may show up

It's possible if we get multiple turnovers, and they are turnover prone.

Outside of turnovers, I don't think we're going to 3 and out these guys much. They're tops in the nation at yards per play and top 10 in third-down percentage. They get chunk plays and they can move the chains consistently. Lincoln Riley has had good offensive output in the playoffs these past two years.

Amen. All you cocky homers predicting a landslide need to think again. How many times do you have to watch Hurts screw with your head? He's just dangerous. It's the end of the season for the loser. You just play differently under that scenario.

It's Win or go home, so of course we all do.

And Oklahoma has a lot going for them, they can score a ton of points and they've been able to rally a few times from way back.

But of the 4 teams, they are the least imposing. They've HAD to rally a few times, and they still lost one. And Hurts is more of a yardage maker than a precise passing QB, I think LSU has the athletes defensively to slow him down.

LSU didn't just make the playoffs, we're coming in as the #1 with just about every major individual award winner; the big anticipation is to go against Ohio State (the rival for #1) or Clemson (the undefeated defending champs). Oklahoma is just a team in the way of that.

Yes game will be close. People on this board need to get focused

No, it won't. I can remember some people on this board being outright scared about playing Utah State with their 1st round QB. Same with UF and others. THIS LSU team has already been tested over and over again. The OU stats, in my opinion, mean very little because of who they have played against - they are a 3 or 4 loss team against LSU'S schedule. It's our time and it won't even be close.

They are the number 4 team in the country and many of them have playoff experience.

So? Our guys have beaten how many Top 10 teams? They beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa. They beat Georgia in Mercedes-Benz Stadium 3 weeks ago.

They might have playoff experience, but LSU has been in big time games all season long.

To me they’re on the about the same level as tamu. Maybe a little better but not much.

Your boys lost to KSU. Should have lost to ISU and Baylor. Hell TCU gave you a game. Laugh all you want but tamu would give your team a close game. You probably haven’t even watched them play.

Only concern would be on LSU not OK. If LSU plays it's game on offense and contains Hurst we should win easily. Only x factor would be turnovers but I believe it would take more than 1 to make a difference.

When OU is playing at their peak, the are as good as any team in the country. Their biggest issue isn't talent, but this bizarre habit of completely checking out of games for a half or so. It cost them against KSU, and almost did against ISU, TCU, and Baylor.

I don't think focus will be an issue this weekend. So of course I'm concerned. Hurts can play and Lamb is a terrific receiver. They can score points with us and make it a game.

I'm confident LSU wins, but to not take the #4 team in the nation seriously is insane.

I'm definitely concerned about this game.

Oklahoma needs to be taken seriously.

Anything can happen.

On paper, this is the most favorable matchup we could hope for.

However, there’s a reason they play it on the field. I overlook nobody.
