That looks like water damage from leaves being close to the soil. Looks like on one of the leaves there is some type of mildew on it. I would do a mixture of peroxide and water on the healthy leaves. Remove the bad ones and after a couple days spray copper on them.

I haven't counted the tomatoes on mine, but I'm pretty sure I have more than 7 or 8 on each plant. Hell, I think I've picked 5 off of each plant already.

Got home from trip and my beans and okra leaves look like a colander. Worms on tomatoes. Crazy how quick things can go south.

Yeah I just got back from a long weekend camping trip and the top level on my trellis fell down from the weight of the cucumbers and I had a chicken running around in circles that had gotten out of the coop.
I do have some tomatoes, cucumbers and bell peppers ready to pick though. Probably a few jalapeños. Still waiting on the Tabasco plant to recover from earlier damage but it is rebounding pretty quickly.

shite you're doing better than me. I have exactly one tomato so far. Blooming like a mofo, but no fruit set. I now it's partially because it's been unseasonably cool here the past month.

I never had much luck getting high yields from purple tomatoes. Except for one fluke bumper crop from some Paul Robeson’s years ago. But not since then.

I’ve posted it before, but I’ll post it again. Here’s the mixing chart I use when spraying peroxide.

Ditto. Which annoys me because cherokee purples are the best tasting tomato I've ever had, by far.
I have some lemon boys going crazy right now, so we'll see. Between those and the midnight snackers, I should be set for maters. The better boys are doing ok as well.
I thought I lost my Sea Island Red peas to mosaic, but after regular foliar fertilizer with kelp/fish emulsion, they've putting up a good fight. My french bush beans are doing damn good too.
Peppers are finally setting. Have tons of jalapenos, a few Anaheims, and a bunch of Carmens. Bells are finally setting, and my habanero and ghost foliage is finally cranking up.
Cucamelons are going to be a bumper crop....and should be an adventure keeping the vines trained.
Also have Edisto melon, Arkansas pickle cukes, yellow squash, zuchs, tomatillos, white eggplant, and spaghetti squash finally growing well.
Thought I lost my goji berry plants, but they're coming on strong now. Tons of comfrey coming up underneath my pomegranates. Have about ten persimmons that set and didn't drop and are growing, so might actually have some persimmons to eat this fall.

Just picked 6 more cherokees today. That puts me over 10 lbs on cherokees for the month. Counted what is left on each plant--9 on one, 11 on the other. I have 14 tomatoes sitting in the house right now (including the 6 picked today), gave away 3 more, and we've eaten 3 or 4. So that puts my 2 plants at 40 tomatoes I think?
I guess I've done pretty well given the other responses here...lol! I'm thinking of making a purple salsa with some of them just to use them up.

I got back late yesterday afternoon after having been gone since Thursday. I had lots of stuff take off while I was gone. Bunch of tomatoes cracked with some rain we got + irrigation being on, so I used those for smoked salsa. I also had some caterpillars demolish like half of my striped german tomatoes.
Sweet millions and sungolds:

Nubia eggplant. I have a lot of these on this plant. Pretty excited to try them out as they're really cool looking.
Fairy tale eggplant. I picked a ton of these when I got home. They're mostly small, but good for stir fry. I think I may have left them on the plant a bit too long because they're not glossy anymore, but they tasted fine. I've never grown eggplant prior to this year.

First year to do a raised bed garden. Grew up truck farming with my dad—we would raise 6,000 tomato plants, three acres red potatoes, lady cream peas, zipper creams, corn, and purple hulls.
This garden has quickly turned into my hobby. I built the raised beds, then added the rock and borders and now have added a pergola fire pit. I’ve still got to finish it.
I’ve got two different types of tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, watermelon, okra, basil, and rosemary planted and I’m already planning on adding two more beds next year.
Enjoying the information in this thread very much.
