That’s my thought process as well. This movie took a large stinky shite on every other Star Wars movie as well as itself.
Obi Wan or yoda’s ghost could have summoned force lightning and killed the emperor or Vader and saved a lot of deaths. Hell obi wan could have just force Lightning’d the Death Star and no assault was even needed (twice)

The Death Star was began construction at the beginning of the Clone Wars.
The Sith Fleet didn’t even start being put together until at least after the events of ROTJ 20 something years later. And that’s assuming they started building them right away.

The only time period that the ships could have been buried is during ANH, because imperial 1's were phased out of service by the time of Empire

Kylo had her dead to rights on the Death Star wreckage until Leia interfered.
She “died” killing Sidious.
I get the previous film “Mary Sue” complaints, but JJ addressed that in this film. We saw Rey training and failing and studying. It was inferred that she had been doing that for a while (Poe and Finn whined about it.)

Nah, she was in god mode the whole time. Character arc is boring as shite. If you’re super good at everything, then there’s no need for the characters around you. No need for self improvement. No humility. That’s why her character isn’t relatable on a human level.

The fight on the Death Star wreckage was so bad. She is kind of kicking arse and doing as she pleases against Kylo. Then all of a sudden is completely sucking wind and can barely swing her lightsaber, so Kylo can get the upper hand, just so Leia can reach out to him to turn him for Rey. Was so silly.
