Anybody else hope Clemson loses to Ohio State?

If LSU takes care of business with Oklahoma, I would really rather not have to see them play Clemson. And Brent Venables is the reason why.
Venables is the one DC that worries me. He has a lot of time to watch film and game plan against this offense. If there is a DC that could slow this offense, it would be him.
Yeah I know they have to worry about OSU first but they admitted to spending more time on Bama leading up to the semi-final than they did on Notre Dame. And it worked out for them. They destroyed both Notre Dame and Bama.
LSU wins regardless of the team they face but I prefer not to have too much anxiety. That is probably wishful thinking from being spoiled this season.

That’s because Notre Dame was and is garbage. They were more of a pushover by a large margin. Also, Bama’s offense is not some revelation, so if you have the players and have that much time to prepare, you can severely stifle it.
LSU would have held Bama to 20 if we had any semblance of offense last year.

I live in Clemson country, and I would love to talk lots of trash.
I do have to say, though, Clemson fans, for the most part, are a pretty classy fan base who have a lot of respect for LSU.

Clemson is the stronger team and has a top veteran DC and they curb stomped Bama last year. I’d rather play OSU

I don’t hope that Ohio State beats Clemson. Ohio State should beat Clemson. Ohio state is better and played a tougher schedule

I would like to see Ohio State embarrassed and bounced from the playoff in a game that is essentially over by halftime. Notre Dame hasn’t fielded a team with legitimate top ten talent since the early 90s.

Neither team would be easy by any means. I may agree with the OP and rather play tOSU. Just the experience factor of Clemson playing their second straight final is not to be dismissed.

I’m sure ESPN would love to have an LSU - Ohio State final. The ratings would be tremendous. Heisman QB against his former team. Can’t get much better than that.
