How can you people make up shite like this and get 53 upvotes? Maybe tonight he was more reserved because LSU was down by 20! I sit in the 200’s towards the top and have heard him word for word screaming many times this season during games. Y’all are crazy

I have been to most of the home games, I've noticed a change. He still gets after the officials, but he hasn't been chewing any of our players out or pull a quick trigger after a bad play.
I think a lot of it is he has to skate thin ice due to the contract clause. I miss the fired up Wade.
Hopefully when everything is finally behind him, he can go back to being comfortable and do his thing.

I have been to ALL our home games this season. WW's demeanor is similar to the past 2 seasons. And tonight is the first game we looked lifeless and bad. Except for Emmitt and Skylar, we played with very little enthusiasm and effort on both D and O. I am willing to bet that won't be true Saturday night in Los Angeles.

“I thought he was coaching good when he was winning. Now that’s he’s losing, I think he’s coaching bad.”

Wade needs to bench some players for not playing defense, rebounding, and turning the ball over. Wade needs to take more time outs to stop the other teams runs.

All this team needs is a good point guard, a decent rim protector and a mismatch on the offensive side. You know - the three players we lost from last years team.

Skylar is the team’s best PG and SG. If Wade just lets him run point, we get at least some improvement.
The other issue I observed tonight is that we were out-rebounded by a significant margin (27.5%).
We out-shot them in every category, but had five more fouls and five more turnovers than they did.
This team needs a point and a legit rebounder. I am holding out hope that Skylar can run the point (Javonte isn’t an option there). As for rebounding, I’m not sure how we can improve that when our tallest players are 6’6” (Days and Williams), and 6’7” (Watford).
Hopefully Woodward won’t frick up the next recruiting class, and next year we’ll have a complete roster with guys who can play every position including rebounding and rim protection.
It’s hard to blame this on Wade when F’king Alexander suspended Wade during the most vital stretch of the entire season.
I’m pretty pissed that F’king A was allowed to find a soft landing spot in the Pacific NW. He deserves to be fired for cause and a press release issued chronicling his myriad of frickups leading to his dismissal.
No reason to pretend that pathetic excuse for a man deserved anything less than to be fired in as public a manner as possible, even holding a press conference to answer any questions about his dismissal.
F that guy. Had he not suspended our coach, we might be playing for a football natty less than a year winning out first in basketball.

Absolutely !! Having no point guard hurts and no big man don't help either ...

I think Wade is ready to get the hell out of here..he has realized he is not getting the facilities he was promised and he does not have the institutional support that was evident from the way last season's fiasco was handled!!!

That game last night was awful.WW and the team should be ashamed

It was after an ugly loss to Houston last year (3rd of the non conference) that the team went on the road to Las Vegas, beat St. Mary's and went on to win the SEC. Houston was a really good team, but we didn’t play very well.
Obviously, this team doesn’t have that kind of talent, but the trip to LA will tell a lot about this team. Hopefully the upper class leadership on this team will step up.

Im not going to post what my initial reaction to that is because it will be wildly unpopular. It's not a good sign.

It is a matter of talent. You cannot expect to compete when your tallest big that plays is 6'6". We do not have an elite player on the team, and that is the truth. I do have faith in Wade to get things done.

He’s like, I should have recruited a point guard, a rebounder, and a 3point shooter, etc...
More like F Alleva, I had a rebounder PG and 3 point shooter recruited then he cut my legs out from underneath me.

Wade left them with no choice. He literally refused to meet with his bosses
Those idiots should have never put him in that position in the first place. Theirs was a clumsy, amateurish, knee jerk reaction which was typical of their bumbling “leadership”. Glad they are gone.

Same here and I'm not really sure what OP is talking about. I could hear Wade screaming from the 300's.
We just have no size this year so we are horrendous at rebounding. Really missing Bigby-Williams

There was a couple shots tonight that I know Wade would have chewed guys out for which he didn't tonight.
I am a huge Wade supporter but the narrative that he hasn't softened up a bit simply isn't true.
Really concerned about our height and rebounding come SEC play. I could tell during warmups ETSU was gonna give us hell considering their height.

lot of time left to get things corrected.
we only attempted 8 free throws last night. We are a time that can shoot free throws. Wade has to get it in their heads that we can't shoot the 3 ball. Get in the lane, get to the rim.
We are getting outrebounded by smaller teams.
Skylar looked as if he was just going thru the motions last night. He's got to get to the rim and get fouled.
Days had an awful game and barely attempted any shots. He's got to be more aggressive for us to have success.
I didn't expect us to cover the spread but I also didn't expect us to get beat up most of the game either.
