How far off does the clock need to be off before it bothers you, and thus you have to reset it.

Trashy to have inaccurate clocks

How do you know the clock you're comparing it to isn't off?

I intentionally set my clocks 5 minutes fast. I have a thing about not being late places.

My self-setting digital alarm clock is off by about 30 minutes. I just roll with it.

Holy hell how could this bother you so bad, 2 minutes? Unless you're the one setting off the nukes why would this even matter?

I think most people I know who do this are still late everywhere because they know the clock is fast

This. I leave my car clock 3-5 fast so I'm not late on giving arrival times.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I am not late places.
Now, my sister on the other hand, we tell her family gathers are an hour before they really are because we know she will be late if we tell her the real time.

If your clock doesn't reset itself, you might want to buy this clock. Every so often you'll look up and see it resetting itself. I find it irritating, but my husband thinks it's cool.
