Flew out of Baton Rouge. Took me 6.5 minutes from getting out of my car to sit at my gate. Walked through security in less than 2 Minutes

Because most people like to fly direct to places other than Dallas, Atlanta, Houston and Charlotte.

More direct flights? Easier than driving through Mogadishu?

Considering BTR is only a regional airport that goes to a few neighboring hubs and MSY has direct flights to cities like NYC, the choice is obvious.

Why the frick would anyone that doesn’t live in or around Baton Rouge drive to Baton Rouge to catch a flight?
Posted on 12/8/19 at 1:19 pm to WaydownSouth
because you can enjoy direct flights to more than like 4 places, probably

Direct flights. Otherwise, I choose BTR

How many pieces of LSU gear did you wear?
I’m gonna guess a head to toe ensemble of purple and gold.
Serious answer......flights in/out of New Orleans are usually much cheaper than BR plus you have the Southwest option

Baton Rouge is gross

Never do Spirit though. Went through them because I had to fly down to MSY from JFK last minute. Big Front Seats were all bought up. Spirit regular seats felt like I was riding in a carnival ride for ~3 hours.

Because flights out of New Orleans are usually half the price or cheaper and have far more direct options.
