When did the CIA & the FBI become so inept?

It’s amazing that movies used to stereotype them as these secretive ninja types and now they’re a frikkin punchline. They have all the money in the world and they get tripped up on emails and text messages.

That’s just what they want you to think.

When Obama altered their mission to weaponize them.

When they were infiltrated by the SJW invaders.

When the Swamp thought Hillary was a lock to win, and there would be no backlash from weaponizing departments against her political rivals.

You have to remember that a leftist is a leftist first. And everything else second. That's why they've destroyed the government, the clergy, the education system, basically everything they touch.

The word inept could just as easily be replaced with the word politicalized.
There may have always been a hint of political bias in both organizations but the obama administration actually used these American assets to spy on other Americans, including journalists and political foes.
To do so obama had to be certain those at the top shared his globalist ideology.
It will take decades, if ever before the political stain obama inflicted on this nation is removed.

J. Edgar Hoover was such a strange (and in my opinion - paranoid) guy, that he started the secretive, subversive, leading up to if not crossing the line, type surveillances many, many years ago. He led the agency for almost 50 years and if you think he didn't have dirt on every sitting president since the 20s, you didn't keep up. I would use a different adjective than "inept". They are very good at what they do. Unfortunately, what they do is not always in the best interest of the USofA but in the best interest of the FBI (or one of their big supporters).

The CIA has a pretty long track record of ineptness, or at least taking actions that resulted in horrible unintended consequences for the U.S., e.g. overthrowing Iran in the 50/s, Bay of Pigs, Guatemala, etc. I think they've done some fantastic work, but they have had more than their fair share of frickups for sure.

Power corrupts. Like a our Right to bear arms...good if that gun is in the hand of a good person...bad in the hand of a heathen conscience.
The Philosophical water has been muddied; been that way since the (Allegorical?) 'Garden of Eden'. "War in Heaven, and on Earth"...in the 'Latter Times'. Our highest Institutions are not immune to that challenge; they are what the people that form, believe.
Strap in. And thank the Good Lord for such a worthy challenge. Happy Thanksgiving.

What's hilarious is the left still rips Bush for the WMD assessment which came straight from the intel agencies and they seem to absolutely worship the intel agencies now as doers of no wrong.
The fricking Stazi didn't have as many fans in East Germany. The idiots think the intel agencies will always be on their side now. They really are the useful idiots.
ETA: lumped in FBI for writing convenience

The FBI/DOJ and much of the intelligence agencies have been tainted with liberalism/progressivism. Most of the bureaucrats in these agencies are degreed from very liberal universities and they bring the Progressive NWO/Globalism ideology into their workplace. Simply stated.....they've been through progressive/liberal indoctrination.

And let's not forget about Charlie's War that created the Taliban and AQ. Then there's the Arab Spring. Dead Ambassador in Libya, Syria but thank god that Al Sisi stepped up in Eygpt.

I've always wondered about this. In their history, pretty much everything their name has been publicly linked to has been an unmitigated disaster. From botched coups across the globe to being blindsided by the collapse of the Warsaw Pact it's hard to name anything they got right. And of course the 2003 invasion of Iraq will go down in history as "Bush lied" but his continued trust in Chalabi strongly suggests that the CIA was simply reinforcing what he wanted to hear, whether for their own ends or to curry favor with the administration. Decades of feigned incompetence just doesn't provide much cover for their ineptitude and corruption.

Inept? They're not inept. They're very efficient in their purpose.
Daddy Bush set them up perfectly for their roll.
