What percentage of US foreign aid gets stolen?

Just your guess...
Since we give foreign aid to almost every shithole country out there, and the leaders of said shitholes are - by nature - corrupt; how much of our aid ends up in the hands of corrupt folks rather than helping the populations?
I’d bet it’s around 80% after theft and sweetheart contracts.

Im gonna say it's on par with the amount of charity from the Clinton Foundation so roughly 6% goes to its intended purpose 94% pillaged by corrupt politicians, oligarchs, and Joe fricking Bidens....

The entire budget will probably get a forensic audit, including the military.
As far as aid, its not just "direct foreign aid", its also through USAID, NATO, UN, IDB, IMF, IDB, World Bank, the US Military, State Dept, etc.

I think we ought to distinguish between military aid and humanitarian aid.
For military aid - if you ever vote against our interests in the UN or elsewhere you get ZERO aid for a decade - and we will activate the 'kill switch' of every piece of equipment we have given you in the past.
For humanitarian aid - we will ship humanitarian goods = canned meat and vegetables, powdered milk, clean water, used blankets and clothing, soap and toothpaste, etc - along with instructions booklets on how to establish a establish a democratically elected government.

Foreign aid is by definition, money given to corrupt countries to line the pockets of government officials in exchange for kickbacks, policy changes (bribes) or other services.

The leaders of some of our shitholes here in the US are amazingly even more corrupt. They get kickbacks. That’s why a majority leaves office extremely wealthy despite as salary of <200k

Define "stolen"....
Like several in this thread, since it is taken from the taxpayer and given to another country, technically 100% is stolen from the taxpayer...
However, how much goes toward its intended purpose?
10% or less and that amount is just for show to say "see foreign aid works"...
The entire system needs to be revamped... There needs to be a full stop and reevaluation of what our money is getting us in return... No return for us, then the shite needs to be cut off...
We need to start with the UN and work from there...

Most is stolen by the recipient head of state with the balance kicked back to congress. We need a forensic audit of all aid and of all of congress. Investigate the families completely. Give the accountants huge bonuses for every corrupt deal exposed.
