I dont know perhaps or it could have been a heart attack or 1 million other things and the hogs just did their hog thing.
Just that she was between the house and her car that makes this story fishy to me.

I would wager she dropped dead of heart attack and the pigs found the body. I have had them chew on a deer before I could recover so I would assume it could happen to a human.

They will kill and eat you if they can just like wolves. I don’t know why people don’t want to admit that. She could have fallen and broken her hip, she could have tripped over on one of them, if you are on the ground and not armed, not fully able to defend you rats, hogs, dogs, coyotes, wolves etc will all kill you and eat you.
So if you fall out if the tree stand don’t scream too loud, it’s like a dinner bell.
Feral Hogs are a complete unnatural threat to native animals and people alike. We need a federally subsidized 15-20 dollar a head bounty of them and let the games begin

I think about that all of the time at one of the spots I hunt. Once you get about 150-200 yards from the gate there is no cell reception, and I've gotten paranoid about falling out of a stand and not being able to call 911 or call a buddy who hunts there too. If I'm going alone I try to text someone else who hunts the lease where I will be sitting so they can come find my body if I don't show up at home that evening.
