Angry Revenge games have not worked out well for the Tigers

I really hope we humiliate aTm this Saturday, but the two most recent "Revenge" games have not worked out well for the good Guys.

Saban's return to BR: We were skyhigh calling for blood and we lost

The UF Hurricane Matthew game: We wanted to humiliate them so bad, we got in a fight before the game, Fornette begged to play when he was hurt and we went the wrong way on the goaline.

BUT since this year has been different than any other, Joey Heisman may keep (the offense at least) focused and we crush them.

Orgeron was the Coach for the Hurricane Matthew game

Good point, but we will win because of talent and not revenge. The only place where revenge might enter in is if we can pad the score.

Pretty sure common denominator for both was one Lesley Miles. He's not here any more.

Coach O says "We comin'." I believe him.

Want to know the difference between LSU this year versus LSU every other year, in "angry revenge games?"

Orgeron was the interim coach in the UF game.

Either way, our losing to Saban and Bama at home in 2008 means quite literally nothing with respect to the 2019 LSU - Texas A&M game.

It sure was sweet beating Saban the first time we played him after returning to CFB. In Tuscaloosa.

it began long before then. The 1981 Tulane team embarrassed the tigers in the superdome 41-8. The next year the Tigers were 9-1 only losing to you know who, and hosted a 3-6 Tulane team who the tigers talked of exacting some revenge upon, only to lose 31-28 in Tiger Stadium.

Bama was about as much of a revenge game as you can get...

My Freshman year. I was so pissed at that game when we lost, I broke my umbrella in half (back when you could bring umbrellas to the games)

If by “you know who” you mean Miss. St. then you’re correct. Something tells me though that isn’t who you mean.

Also, we tied Tennessee earlier in ‘82 so we were 8-1-1 going into the Tulane game.

What do 2 games, only 1 of which has slight roster overlaps, have to do with this year?
