But it probably made him feel cool to brag about it on a message board.

What are people’s opinions of the west upper chairbacks? I’ve only sat in the lower bowl (student section or family season tix). I imagine it’s got a great vantage. Just curious if you feel “removed” being in the uppers

It can be less rowdy up there for sure, unless it's a packed house where everybody is into the game. It's a great view though. A little more space. Not a bad place to sit.
The Football Power Index (FPI) is a measure of team strength that is meant to be the best predictor of a team's performance going forward for the rest of the season. FPI represents how many points above or below average a team is. Projected results are based on 10,000 simulations of the rest of the season using FPI, results to date, and the remaining schedule. Ratings and projections update daily

That is what ESPN defines their FPI polls as.
It's an absolutely meaningless ranking. That's all there is to it.
Have you seen Burrow when the refs spotted the ball too slow?

I don't think even Joe Burrow would feel that the middle of a drive is the appropriate time to celebrate anything.

Maybe Vincent at times??

Vincent was pretty solid Saturday. It wasn't until later in the game, when the entire defense started slacking, that Vincent gave up big plays.

He can play in 3 more games this season since this was his first action of the year. I wouldn’t expect to see him against A&M unless needed. That will give him the SEC Championship game, the CFP, and the Natty and he’d still be able to redshirt

I don't think redshirting him should be any concern. If he doesn't have a future in football, then he will leave LSU in three years anyway to pursue the MLB. Hampton probably isn't a player who will spend 5 years at LSU.

We still won a championship - the SEC west.

We won our division. The SEC has one champion.

Why wouldn’t you try to control the team you play?

We don't control the team we play regardless.

Get yourself the easiest path possible to the championship and then “win it on the field.”

By being the one seed you do have the "easiest path possible" by playing the 4 seed. Who the committee puts as the four seed isn't controlled by anything Orgeron says.

What player do you want to sit in order to play a third safety?
LSU doesn't need to control any narrative. They need to win two more football games, and a narrative isn't needed.

quote:

Orgeron say something like “In my opinion you shouldn’t be able to go to the championship game if you aren’t a champion

So you want him to start pushing this, and then what happens if Georgia beats LSU? Then he is trying to control a narrative that would be keeping LSU out. That doesn't seem very wise.
Forecasted rain.

Thanksgiving weekend.

Students being off of school.

It's not a good recipe at all for a great Tiger Stadium environment, unfortunately.
You are overthinking this. This football team will be ready for aTm this weekend, and be ready for UGA. They aren't going to lack focus on a week with the SEC title and a playoff birth on the line.
He knows that's not true, but he has to say that. He's trying to rally some committee votes by saying they beat one of the best teams in the country. Don't fall for that.
Want to know the difference between LSU this year versus LSU every other year, in "angry revenge games?"

quote:

Gatorade baths are for winners...except for when the Bluegrass Miracle occurs

Orgeron got a premature Gatorade bath as well. Might want to rethink that comment.
If I would have told you before the season that LSU would have a QB that could have possibly the greatest season in the history of college football, people would have called me a delusional fool.
