Obviously he has put together a great season and if he did enter the 2020 Draft he would certainly be drafted. However, this 2020 WR Draft Class seems unusually strong and I wonder if JJets couldn't raise his stock simply by waiting until 2021. He would obviously be competing with Chase and Marshall by that time but right now he seems to be rated outside the top 10 WR prospects for 2020 on most sites.

Depends on his draft grade

No

I doubt his stock will go up any more than it already is. Chase and Marshall will both be back next season, with younger and hungrier WRs

Not to say he would be sidelined by these guys, but he needs to go get paid

He's 100% gone, and should be.
He isn't going to get bigger or faster. His NFL attributes are route running and sure hands - staying another year does nothing to improve those.
Go get that bag, kid.

He's 12th in yards and 7th in TDs. He's having a stellar year. His tape is good. He makes plays after the catch.

LSU has a bright future behind him. I think he should go if his grade is 3rd round or higher.

The last WR drafted in the 3rd round got $3,574,928 for his contract. 1st in the 3rd round got $4,280,962.

He’ll have a first year starter at QB throwing to him plus Jamar and Terrace taking touches from him again.

I’m not sure he could improve his stock that much. He’s been damn good for 2 full seasons now.

He's dramatically improved his draft stock. We have 4 elite WRs currently committed and who knows how our passing game will be with a new QB.

Staying another season would be a huge risk. Anyway, the way the rookie contracts are structured, you are playing for the second contract which is where the big money lies.

No. He won’t have the same numbers next year. Burrow is helping Jefferson’s draft stock. He should go.

No. His stock has nowhere to go but down. No since in risking injury.

1. No Joe Burrow
2. 2 year starter with a ton of tape.

He's gone. Nothing left to prove.

I'd love him back, but if he's gonna go in the top three rounds he should go.

He has the potential to be a really good slot receiver in the NFL.

eh the way i think of it is...any one that goes early to the draft is a personal decision...so in saying that he has nothing to prove at LSU next year and he would have a new QB so chances of him being better or having better stats next year are slim...of course id welcome him back with open arms but i believe his decision will come down to more than just his draft grade IMO...this will also go for CHE

No. He would be taking a bigger risk by staying through a QB change.

Burrow has certainly made himself a lot if money this season but he has also spread the wealth and fomented a lot of cash value in the WR corp and to some degree in CEH.

I'd go if I'm him. He has been rising and with no Burrow he would be taking a huge risk that Brennan can be as effective. I doubt his stock gets higher.

His draft stock is at its peak after this season. He needs to go cash in a big check while he can

While you start stupid threads often, this will be a a discussion soon.
As low as Jefferson was rated, if his draft stock has risen this much he should take the money and go. He has exceeded everyone’s expectations here and he’s been a solid Tiger and a fan favorite. He deserves to be paid. Can’t wait to see him ball out in the NFL.
Here’s to a great Tiger.

Or his stock could possibly drop if he has lower production next year with an offense that will have a new quarterback and likely tilted more toward the run than the past depending on what Brennan shows.

I am not sure that Brennan will be able to throw as much as. Urie with the same success.

I doubt the receiving class will be any thinner next year. There's a decent chance he'll surprise at the Combine with his speed and could be the 3rd WR off the board this year behind Jeudy and Lamb from Oklahoma.
