In one more year Chase and others join that draft class. So what did he gain by awaiting?

ESPN's McShay (fwiw) has Jefferson 17th on his Big Board as of his last update.
17. Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU*
Height: 6-3 | Weight: 192
Grade: 88 | Previous rank: NR
Jefferson has established himself as Burrow's go-to guy in the passing game, racking up 1,010 yards and 11 touchdowns on 71 catches. All three of those figures rank within the top nine in the country. Jefferson doesn't have elite physical tools, but he has good size and speed, and he will continue getting bigger and stronger. He shows a real knack for getting open, and I really like the way he adjusts his routes, coming back to his quarterback on scrambles and finding windows in zone coverage.

I think what helps him is that he showed he could be a #1 WR in last year's offense. He'll make an excellent slot receiver in NFL with the versatility to play outside

Everything I have read says is he is soring up the draft boards rapidly. If I was him, I'd head to the NFL in the spring and the reason why is because this is Joe Burrow's final season at LSU unfortunately.
While Myles Brennan will more or less be decent, he's no Joe Burrow. Hence, I highly doubt Jefferson could duplicate his amazing stats again next season. Therefore, if I were him, I'd make my move to the NFL this spring.

No. His production will go down with Brennan

Won’t have Burrow throwing it.No way he’d even come close to duplicating the numbers he’s putting up this season.

Gone just like CEH, no reason to come back, locked up draft range.
Chase, Marshall, MCMth, Palmer, etc
The hope is that Cush and the OT's return along with Shelvin(some saying is) Ferrell, and Logan to maintain depth and experience. To me, all of these guys have potential to raise draft grade.

No, time for him to move on, he won't get any better by coming back next year, but he does need to add some weight and strength on his frame at the next level. But there is just too much talent behind him and coming in that will be hungry to take his spot, he'll only be holding them back.

probably so. he needs to stay if he isn't projected to go in the first two rounds...
he stays and if he improves any. he probably makes himself millions of dollars...

Average NFL career is a little over three years. All you guys say he needs to get paid.
don't be shortsighted if he stays he would probably definitely make more money over the next 4 years.
this years draft is loaded with wide recievers...let the bama boys go and HE Is a STUD next year.

Absolutely not, he's not going to get faster. He has 2 years of good tape. He can run routes and catch. He will be a WR2 for 10 years. He reminds me of Golden Tate. Maybe not as fast.
Justin Jefferson is the Clyde Edwards-Helaire of wide receivers. And I love him for it. He should go. He can't really improve anymore.

No. Her should go regardless of what his draft grade is, unless it’s undrafted. Most people don’t understand that the draft grade is not the important datum. What’s important is can he improve his draft grade by returning. If not, then go pro, unless you have little chance of making it in the league (draft grade is Free Agent).
Ask yourself, How would Jefferson improve his draft grade. To improve your grade you’d have to become more athletic, or get better at playing football. Jefferson is not going to get much more athletic. He’s already a damn good player. I don’t see how his draft grade improves. In fact, the best time for Jefferson to go pro was before Chase starting dominating, and Jetts was getting more opportunities.

Daniel Jerimiah had him in the conversation for for WR taken. He gone
First? If so, Daniel is an idiot. I love Jetts. He’s a great Tiger, and will have a nice NFL career, but he’s 100 miles away from being the first WR taken.

no, he won't be playing with a quarterback nearly as good as the one that is throwing to him now. His stats will be no where near what they are this season.

He is gone. End of the Jeffersons. Thank you Mamma and Daddy Jefferson. !!!!!

he will be a 2nd round pick and I would like him to stay but he has nothing else to prove at the college level
