Uh, it has nothing to do with last night and no one said it did. Are you too obtuse to look beyond the microscope of one game? Or do you not remember the other 9 games?

I'm curious if we when the NC, if the rant will still be bitching about something

Other than Bama and LSU, Ole Miss’s biggest loss was by 11 to Mizzou. The rest were between 5 and 8 points, including Auburn and A&M.
The defense looked pretty bad last night, and there really aren’t any great excuses. But Ole Miss is also unique in their offense. If the defense can just avoid giving up too many big plays like they did last night, the offense can likely score enough points on anybody. We just don’t have a great defense this year, but thank goodness Georgia doesn’t have that great an offense. They are really good on defense, but Joe is excellent under pressure. And our running game will help.
Is there reason for concern? Yes, but despair, not really.

Yep - they look like one of the best teams in the country. Doesnt mean they cant have a weakness that can be concerning to some people.
Also, doesnt mean the weakness will ever cost them
I dont understand why this is so difficult for some of you.
We have the best offense in the country. We have the best schedule in the country. We are undefeated and are going to the SEC championship and probably the playoffs.
All of that doesnt exclude us from being able to say we can't generate a great pass rush.

It also doesnt mean adults cant have a realistic conversation about something related to the team on a message board.
Stuff like this is not adults discussing

Arguably the worst front 7 at LSU in 25 years
Obviously the defense was awful last night and no it wasn’t the first time this year but here’s the thing, unlike say OU in years past, we haven’t been in real danger of losing. Even last week, Alabama never had the ball with a chance to take the lead from the late 2Q. Last night was annoying more than threatening. As you said it’s 10 weeks, so it’s not really going to get “fixed” but as bad as they’ve looked in spots they’ve also had good moments so if the defense actually costs us a game, I’ll worry about it then

Yeah, I really dont know that it will cost us. I really don't think that there is a team right now that can stop Joe Burrow and the offense.

I recall the pass rush being spotty & inconsistent at times but guess what? Even good pass rushes fail to get pressure or sack the QB every damn pass play.

Georgia’s defense is good but my goodness Gus’s playcalling was so predictable and terrible even Les Miles would cringe at it.

Ok good, so you agree with that exact same thing I've said this whole thread

Yet you are bringing up something that wasn't an issue last night.

Good news is arky, a&m, and Uga don’t have the personnel to exploit our weakness.
I don’t think Clemson does either as lawerence isn’t as fast as plumlee.
Tosu might but fields is a bitch

Of course they will be
There are people on the Rant who act like 2011 was the worst season in LSU history because of the Alabama streak that came after, and people that act like the 2007 championship didn’t actually happen
2003 seems to be mostly well received for whatever reason, even though we had some sloppy moments that year that would rival some of the letdowns in others
People just like to play chicken little on this board

UGA does...but I dont think they have the defense to stop our offense. I dont think anyone has the defense to stop our offense right now

The delusion really is crazy around here when LSU sniffs a little bit of success.
It’s prob the same people that said O couldn’t lead LSU to the CFB playoff
And the same people that said Burrow was an Etling clone & joe Brady was billy Gonzales 2.0
If they aren’t overreacting, they aren’t breathing

There’s a difference between being “concerned” and wanting Aranda run off a year and a half removed when this board was in semi-melt mode when he was rumored to be going to A&M
The guy didn’t forget how to coach.
The mob after his head is ridiculous.

Fromm isn’t mobile enough to give us issues and he has a noodle arm

While the defensive concerns are real I was actually worried that the team would come out flat. Ole Miss has actually played well in the last three games before playing LSU. I'm glad that the offense was able to rise to the occasion in a very workmanlike way
