Just switched from Capital One to Wells Fargo for my primary checking account
I had no major issues with capital one other than them closing down the local branches

no matter who you bank with always make sure you have a checking account that has zeros fees and charges for things.
Typically online accounts are the way to go.
Same for online savings account whose interest rates are triple what you will get at a brick and mortar.

Rayne State Bank.
Always bank with a small community bank. Always easy dealing with a bank that knows you when you walk into the bank. Small banks have the same technology available as the big banks.

B) And with an actual bank, not a credit union. You are aware credit unions are “non profit” and pay ZERO taxes, right?
Also not publicly owned. While not paying taxes, credit unions are able to return lower rates on loans, higher rates on cds, and better products/services.

I can agree with this statement.
When, you drive up to a teller with no deposit slip and you can tell the teller what you want and need with no hassle is best part of banking with someone you know.
