Anyone have any idea? Please keep this discussion solely on focused on strength of their arm/throwing talent.

Accuracy - Burrow big time, Strength - Brennan.

If Brennan gets 80% of Burrow's accuracy next year, develops a touch on his passes, and has a very good pocket presence, we are in great shape!

Sorry I can’t answer your question:

But Brady is going to have a lot to say about Brennan’s development in 2020.

He can’t be written off. He will add more than 5 lbs and who knows, there may be a metabolism switch that is hit by the fall and we are looking at a different human.

Lame comparison.

Burrow could knock down a brick wall if he chose to. Burrrow throws with touch because he WANTS to. Not because he can't throw smoke,

Judge a QB by his ability to complete passes (at a high completion percentage) to every area of the field. NOT by his choice to throw hard when an underhand toss would be 5 times more effective.

Burrow throws bullets when he NEEDS to. Which is not all that often. BTW, it takes MUCH more skill to throw with touch than to throw all fastballs.

There is so much more to a QB effectiveness than this.

Brennan has the biggest arm since Jamarcus. That can only mean so much though, hoping he puts it all together.

Buckeye Jeaux is so triggered that Myles has a stronger arm Kid throws rockets effortlessly. We know that doesn't make him a better QB though relax man.

Doesn’t matter. Burrow has qualities you can’t teach. Arm strength doesn’t mean shite if you don’t have the right mentality. Not saying Brennan doesn’t have those things, just that it remains to be seen.

Arm talent is about 10 % of what makes a great qb.

1. Accuracy
2. Decision making
3. Leqdership
4. Toughness
5. Mobility in the pocket.

I'm not concerned with his arm. I just know whoever is next will have big shoes to fill when it comes to the grasp they have on the offense and the ins and outs. Burrow is in full command.

Arm talent in only a pre-requisite. Field vision, leadership/swag and composure are essential to enable the physical talent.

I seriously doubt anyone here can answer this question with any first hand knowledge. Most people are going to use cliches and preconceived notions they’ve heard on the rant to demise that Brennan definitely has a stronger arm than joe

Might be true, might not be, but I doubt many people here have seen them throw side by side enough to make an accurate comparison

Brennan has a noodle for an arm. All of you saying Brennan has any advantage over Burrow are crazy. Hopefully CEO is actively monitoring the transfer portal bc we aren't winning more than 7 games if he's our QB1 next year.

Baseball analogy:

Brennan 95-99 mph fastball (doesnt always know where the ball is going)

Burrow: 85-90 mph fastball (always in the zone)
