My take on the CFP standings.....

They are toying with the public. Dropping Bama to 5 was huge to me and with Oregon and Utah as 6 and 7th, they feel Pac 10 very much alive. If both win out, both remain in Top ten. A win by either (OU or UTAH) in the Pac 10 Championship means one will have a top ten win and possibly be the 4th team. THAT would be good for college football having the entire nation represented. Georgia will not remain at number 4. But, putting OU at ten and Baylor at 12, the committee is telling the Big 12 to go elsewhere this year.
Minnesota getting air play, but I doubt they will be OSU.

Why are you people this worried about?
A one loss PaC 12 champ whether it be Utah or Oregon is in without question.
utah losing a fluke game at USC on a friday and Oregon losing to Auburn on a last second miracle play arent going to prevent them from making it as a one loss conference champ.
Oklahoma running the table and winning big 12 with one loss isn't getting held out either.

OU will be top 6-7 next week after beating Baylor so they aren’t out
They will get Baylor again in 3 weeks

My take...
Of the top 10 teams, Bama is the only one that 100% does NOT control their destiny.

Well somebody is going to get left out, assuming LSU, Ohio State, and Clemson all win out.

Not in lieu of Alabama, which is what this thread is about.

So you think a 1 loss Oregon team that finishes 12-1 with a loss to auburn, gets in over a 12-1 lsu team that beat 4 top 20 teams but dropped a close one to ga?

Lol at you thinking the committee will jump Oregon or utah over Bama

I believe they will jump Oregon over bama if Oregon wins PAC with a top 10 win. If ga beats auburn, that win for bama over auburn won't be that great.

They use the eyeball test exclusively. Totally subjective with very little use of data, just like the AP rankings. The BCS really worked until the AP became a bigger component. Human element is the entire problem with the rankings.

They should or the system is nothing but a Bama-biased joke.

A 12-1 Oregon or Utah as Pac 10 champs are in.
