Herbert is a ridiculous prospect too. I'd take Burrow, but the top 3 QBs this year have a ton of potential.

Again this is not about Herbert v Burrow, really.
It is about the absurd reasoning.
Honestly I would prefer if Burrow fell to the middle of round 1. He would go to a better team and have a chance at succeeding.
No one has a chance succeeding in Cincy.

He really loaded the Dolphins with talent. I think 31/32 teams should listen to him. Let the Saints make the mistake at 32

Burrow has the "it" factor a la Tom Brady that I think is getting over-looked. When Bama mounted their comeback, there was never a doubt that Burrow would have an answer. He is not a running QB, yet runs well, can slide in the pocket and deliver a very accurate ball under pressure, these qualities are what translates to success in the NFL.
You would think by now they would know that it is not ALL about the height and arm strength when it comes to succeeding as an NFL QB (which Joes has plenty of both).
Leadership off the charts, poise, he's got it all.

Saints are sending Bridgewater to Miami for JB.

Joe Burrow is a spitting image of Tom Brady coming out of college.
Lol, um, I don't think so especially when it comes to running with the ball. Tom couldn't beat a three toed sloth in a race.

I'm SOOOOO GLAD that JOKE OF A GM is out of Miami. I was horrified when they brought him in from the jets and am glad he's not there anymore

Yeah, people typically decide between two great options for goofy reasons though. Size in this case is goofy, no doubt.

There were scouts that wanted Leaf over Manning. Literally, you cannot listen to this type of stuff and worry about it.

The best Twitter comment.

Tannenbaum has been a terrible GM wherever he’s been ( see Jets and my Dolphins ) . Taking advice from this guy on drafting is like taking parenting advice from Casey Anthony .

Mike Tannenbaum:
Never played Football
Never coached Football
Never scouted Football players
Opinion never mattered

RG3 is rail thin man as far as NFL players go.

Galaxy brain takes like this are what lead teams like the Jets and Cardinals to take Darnold and Rosen at the top of the draft and then 2 years later their front offices are saying “well how were we supposed to know the guy that won the heisman and actually produced in college would be the best QB in the draft?!”

Mike Tannenbaum: I’m taking Herbert over Burrow because Herbert is bigger
He said that he liked Herbert over BOTH Burrow and Tua.
Now, before people go crazy, Herbert was considered a #1 pick contender just last year.

Tua is not a great NFL prospect. He's a great college QB.

On the contrary looks like Marvin was doing pretty good compared to now.

Yep, thats why the Dolphins are so good.

Herbert is 6'6" 238lbs
Burrow is 6'4" 216lbs
There are reasons why certain NFL franchises suck year-in and year-out.
Accuracy, ability to adapt on the fly, and leadership are far more valuable in a QB than how tall he is and his weight.
