Add Asst HC to that as well, IMHO.

It's over on pay boards too, insiders have leaked it out. IT's done

You have several in this thread sayingn "you don't know who is responsible for what." To me, that reads that we can't be sure that Brady is the key.
If LSU offers Brady anywhere near what we are hearing, then I know what Orgeron and Woodward think about who is responsible.

Damn dude! Do you have a PC or cell phone? It was live on radio this morning and several have confirmed it here and on pay sites. Why be a dick?

Why have Brady spend much less time creating and scheming plays and coaching qbs and receivers to spend time coordinating with line coach for blocking defensive linemen and running backs coach for teaching following blockers as well as supervising all offensive coaches including all the offensive analysts? And more time talking to reporters? Why not keep the young man doing what worked so well this year? Is it a prestige thing? It appears he works well with the non-egotistical E and O. Perhaps he, too, is all about winning, not prestige at this point in his young career.
If Brady were to be “promoted” to OC, who would he and O hire to be the passing game coordinator?
Pay the man to stay put for now and enjoy the ride.

I honestly love the commitment to the model that Ed has created: seek out and hire the very best staff in the country and pay them accordingly.
This is a sustainable model that will continue to attract the very best of the best (and not require having to work for someone like Saban who makes his assistants lives miserable in the process).
Rosy Finch Boyz doing work!

Good for him and LSU. I read the ESPN article about him. He is a smart, hardworking man. I expect he will be very successful. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

We are in the progress of riding.

I was going to guess 1.8

So, is he gone if someone offers 1.9 to be OC or HC elsewhere?

The university engaged Brady about a raise and an extension during LSU’s bye week, per the report, and LSU is willing to pay Brady NFL coordinator market value of around $1.5 million.
Brady signed a three-year contract in February paying him $410,000 per year in the first year, $435,000 in the second and $460,000 in the third. Obviously, Brady’s impact on LSU can’t be overstated, and LSU is willing to pay up in order to keep him. If Brady were to get around the mentioned $1.5 million mark, he’d make nearly double of what offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger is currently making at $800,000.
At $1.5 million, Brady would be the highest paid non-offensive (or defensive) coordinator in college football, which would rank him around No. 8 in the nation, according to USA Today’s assistant coaches database from 2018.

The 30-year-old Brady is in his first year with LSU after spending the previous two years with the New Orleans Saints. With how he’s turned LSU from a run-first team into one of college football’s elite offenses, he’s going to get a ton of job offers this offseason.
Unless, of course, the Tigers tie him down first. And that appears to be exactly the plan.
According to Yahoo! Sports, the Tigers are in talks with Brady about giving him a raise and a contract extension in the days to come. Per the report, LSU is ready to pay him “NFL coordinator market value” which would be upwards of $1.5 million. He is currently on a three-year deal making just over $400,000 per season.
