Radioactive carjacking in Jackson

Stolen sources were F-18. Source 1 had an activity of 6000.627 mCi at 0149 CDT and source 2 had an activity of 1694.932 mCi at 0151 CDT.

F-18 = fluoride 18, a radioactive isotope.

PET doses = radionuclide injected, ingested or inhaled prior to a PET scan.

6000 mCi = enough to frick you right up.

Hope the idiot(s) that stole these do something really, really stupid to themselves like mixing this in a cocktail or two.
