Would that prove that it's the best coaching job in all of CFB?
Also, has that ever been done before?

How many did Curly Hallman get?

Yes Miami did it
Do you know which 3 coaches off the top of your head?
ETA looks like it's Howard Schnellenberger, Jimmy Johnson, and Dennis Erickson

Schnellenberger- I think I screwed that name up
Johnson

Coker won won but there may have been a coach in between

Butch Davis built Cokers title

Coker won after Butch Davis who never won it, but recruited the Coker championship and runner up teams.

Dennis Erickson
Coach O was on Erickson’s staff and won 2 NC’s.
Arguably his most famous player is The Rock

Do any of those championships occur during the significant recruitment violations with the prostitute cruises and such?

Apparently Miami did it in the 80s and 90s.
Pretty fricking good company if you ask me.

Nope , Nevin Shapiro was making it rain from 2002-2010 (Coker - Shannon era)

Wonder if that's the only occurrence of this happening
I can't think of another one off the top of my head. Certainly hasn't happened in the modern era.

Coker at one point was like 32-1

It may not be the best job in the country historically, but LSU has more built in advantages than any school I can think of.
That would be amazing feat

It is well known that the foundation for winning the NC is very high level recruiting.

I would say 3.5 straight coaches for Miami. Butch Davis deserves half a ring for the Miami title Coker won.
If you watch the documentary The U part two even the players on that team told Coker to just stay out the way we got this.
