Black conservative Chicago native Gianno Caldwell picked apart recent controversial comments from former First Lady Michelle Obama, who claimed that "white folks" fled Chicago neighborhoods in the 1970s because black families were moving into them.

Caldwell expressed doubt that the former first lady had facts to back up her comments, which he described as divisive.
Appearing on Fox Nation's "Reality Check with David Webb, Caldwell said: "I wonder if she has any facts to support her conclusion, that simply because they were there, that white Americans were leaving the community because they didn't like what their family represented.

Caldwell argued that it is more likely that families in the 1970s, continuing to the present day, are leaving Chicago because of dysfunctional city leadership. The Chicago native ticked off a few examples of alleged mismanagement, including Chicago's sanctuary city policy, which Caldwell blames for depressing wages for legal citizens regardless of their race or ethnicity.
"People are running out of the city of Chicago in droves," Caldwell said, "in fear of their lives being taken away, in fear of the taxes being raised on them... in fear of a liberal government that continues to chase its citizens and take everything that they have. So maybe there is some truth to that point, but that wasn't the narrative in which she was making."

It does my heart good to see the _itch's racist rhetoric being refuted by her own people.

The brief video is worth watching.

You know as well as I do... and everyone for that matter... that it's hard to look into the mirror, realize that it's your fault, and change.

The Dems truly believe that THIS time... now that THEY (the current iteration) is in charge... that they'll get it right.
They just need more money to implement the version of government that will finally cure all issues.

In their mind, it isn't the Dem leadership's fault that people are so flawed. There has to be some underlying racist, bigoted, evil forces working against their master plans that has forced them to fail. It certainly can't be their policies at fault. After all, they have the best intentions.
And yet, year after year, Dem city after Dem city. We see the same issues.

I mean it was fairly common. My mother's neighborhood in Louisville when she was a kid went from middle class white to very poor black as she was growing up. Property values decreased so much they ended up stuck and unable to get out. So they ended up the only white family on the block. So my mom basically grew up a bad arse.

These things absolutely happened though...not sure how anyone would claim they didn't. It's just like if my street got named MLK Jr BLVD I'd instantly sell before the value went the shite.

Let white folks take over a couple blocks of a black neighborhood and you'll see racism cries for 6 months

Thank you for introducing me to this man who clearly speaks the truth.

“The President just demonstrated on live national television that he doesn't understand race relations in America."

“President Trump, our president, has literally betrayed the conscience of our country. The very moral fabric in which we've made progress when it comes to race relations in America? He's failed us, and it's very unfortunate that our president would say things like he did in that press conference yesterday when he says, ‘There are good people on the side of the Nazis. They weren't all Nazis and they weren't all white supremacists.' Mr. President: People, good people, don't pal around with Nazis and white supremacists.”

It’s mind boggling that something can be as idiotic, stupid, and just flat out make up shite and lie like whatever it is that you are. And that’s saying a lot because liberals are already notoriously known liars. You’re one of the liberals around here that just prove further that you freaks are seriously mentally deranged.

It appears those white people saw what was coming.

And where was it again that her/him and Barack moved to? Did they move back to the inner city of Chicago to help those fine people? No, they moved to the whitest, yuppie loving area in the entire country! Liberals in power are the most hypocritical people in existence.

This is so absurd on it's face it's laughable. Race relations just a few years removed after the civil rights movement were quite different as was how city governments were run. There was white flight ALL Over the country at this time and the examples that can be listed would make up a very long list. I guess he thinks this simultaneously happening all over the nation were just a coincidence.

Conversely, there is a very good argument to be made that this also decimated traditionally black neighborhoods as well. Prior to this era, black neighborhoods contained all levels of income and education of the black community. As the years progressed the middle class / wealthy black families moved out of these neighborhoods which caused great instability and left a huge void in these urban enclaves. Crack rolls into these hoods in the late 70's and the rest is history.

David Webb is an awesome guy, I listen to his radio show on Sirius Patriot regularly. About a year ago he was doing a live phone interview on his show with Areva Martin from CNN, the instant he started challenging her talking points she basically told him that he cannot relate because of all of the benefits he’s automatically given as a result of his white privilege.

She had no idea he was black and he called her arse out with the quickness, it was fricking hilarious

You already know what she will say the answer to that is.
Hint...it's race related.

So you would leave because of decreasing property values...I see nothing racist about that. If you were in an all white neighborhood and the values started decreasing, for whatever reason other than black families moving in, I expect you would do it then also.
