Brady is not going anywhere. No desireable power 5 team is offering him a head coach job. NFL is probably more of a threat.

Btw there are a bunch of people who can implement and call plYs for a spread RPO

I expect LSU to give him a big raise plus incentives.

Nonetheless, Ed O isn't crazy enough to get rid of Steve Ensminger so soon to promote someone that doesn't nearly have the experience being an OC, QB coach, and play-caller that Steve Ensminger has. As it is Steve Ensminger who coached up Joe Burrow for this season.

I mean, he doesn’t have to be QB coach to be OC.

And at least Co-OC

It’s also Amazing how Ensminger remembered how to be a good QB coach exactly when Brady showed up.

Weird.

I can't imagine any college hiring him as head coach since he has no experience.

And there are very few schools that will bring him in as OC at a High salary without a lot of risk and far less talent involved.

He will likely be the OC in 2 years if not next year and have a nice long contract to go with it. The only thing that I can see him leaving for is if a job at whatever his dream school or location opened up. And I don't see that happening for at least 2-3 years.

1.) He is a young guy on currently coaching for the #1 team in the country.

2.) He is about to get a contract that will be life changing.

3.) His current employer has access to Top 5 facilities and some of the most fertile recruiting ground in the country.

4.) He knows with the class coming in and what he will have on Off next year will be able to build on current success.

5.) Most of his job offers will come from schools needing rebuilds. Why would you turn in keys to a Ferrari for a Ford in hopes it will be a Ferrari someday?

Because Orgeron is the greatest College Football Head Coach ever. Brady would be foolish to leave and turn down the opportunity for another year of expert tutelage under Orgeron and Ensminger. He very well may take a reduction in pay for the continued opportunity.

Man, you couldn't be more ignorant.

I hate to burst your bubble, but Steve Ensminger spent the largest amount of his career being a QB coach and then both an OC and QB coach.

Meanwhile, he never had coached TEs until he arrived at LSU. But he has always been a coach since he graduated so it didn't take him long to get up to speed.

Nonetheless, Ensminger coached numerous QBs that went on to have NFL careers. Not to mention, that he played QB at LSU. So how would he forget?

Moreover, the only reason why he agreed to become a TE coach is cause he wanted to coach at LSU and to move back to Baton Rouge where he and his wife grew up.

In addition, Les Miles tried to talk him into becoming LSU's OC on several occasions, but he always refused cause he didn't want to run Les Miles's old stone age offense and also because Miles fired his OCs every two to three years as sacrificial lambs.

He'll set himself up better by being the OC for a few years. He'll get a legit P5 job thereafter.

That’s not new information

1. Name them. 2. It’s not that he forgot, it’s that he wasn’t ever that good at it, and being a QB in the 70s isn’t the same.

Miles only really fires Crowton, after 4 years. Stud was an interim when Krag got sick and he went down with the ship on Cameron.

And all of this is irrelevant because all our QBs looked terrible last year. Burrow, Brennan, and McMillan who is actually pretty good at Tulane.

Coaching top-ranked football at LSU has to be a sweet gig. He likes it here. He is being compensated very well.

He doesn't want to leave... yet. Who knows how long Steve E. would like to continue coaching.

Sorry, just seeing this. I was at Lambeau field for that miserable game. We had all the talent in the world and looked like my 6th grade team.
Joe Brady is the fricking man, he definitely overhauled and upgraded our offense. But having Joe Burrow running it is fortuitous for all of our coaches and fans.
Let's hope this team wins it all, I'm cautiously optimistic.
If and when he does it again next year with Miles Brennan then sign him up for the next 10 year's. Whatever Coach O is doing, it's working, He knows how much JB means to our program, he ain't letting him go without a fight. Geaux Tigers

Presumably you are talking about Burrow from last year being "best QB since Mauck."

Joe 2019 is the best we've ever had. That includes not just the recent folks, but also Hodson, Jones, and Tittle . . . by a decent margin.

Those of us who watched his OSU Spring game film expected the Burrow of 2018, and we expected a bit of improvement for 2019. No one expected this.

At this point, he may be the coolest, most accurate college QB I've ever seen. His defense reads are off the charts. His story is right there with Coach O's. What a year!

You have to remember Ensminger really did not want to be OC again
He is at the age that he really did not want what the pressure that comes with the position.
That is why he and Brady get along so well like they do. I have met Coach E at store buying dip. Not motivated by $$ no big ego
