Now saying Joe Brady has done a good job and has helped our Tigers is an understatement but saying that he turned a pinto into a Ferrari is ridiculous and utter nonsense. Our offensive line got another year of experience, Joe Burrow has had 16 month's with the team as apposed to 4 months, receivers were freshmen and sophomores. Brady without a doubt has been fantastic but with me joining Ensminger as the passing coordinator this offense would have been much improved.
After all that, I still say, pay Brady, he's awesome. With our recruiting we could have the most prolific offense in the nation for years to come.

Because we are LSU. There is not a better job in college athletics than to work for or be a part of the Fighting Tigers. Remember who we are now. Forget the past mistakes.

We would have improved but not this much.

There were so many issues last year

How we approached the game was antiquated and counterproductive. When we had protection issues she brought in more blockers and gave our QB less targets.

We weren’t spreading the field, and taking defenders our of the box.

Our redzone play calling was fricking aweful.

Teams were blitzing and killing our QB because we didn’t run quick routes behind the blitz.

Our Ol looks better because the scheme gives Joe more options and he can get the ball out. We also put teams on their back heel more.

Our offense was pretty bad most of last year. You don’t go from an offense in the 70s to Top 5 offense on experience only.

Yada fricking yada!!

You people are afraid to give credit where due. What happened in that Wisconsin game after we had a more matured Fournette, an OL with another year to get stronger and gel, WR with more experience... horseshite Mr. Politically correct. We sucked that year because of Les Miles and a stoneage offense that even the great Leonard Fournette could not save.

Brady is the big difference this year. Tell me without him we would have averaged in our first 4 games 60 PPG and be number one in YPG, and tops in TD per game, and so on and so on. NO frickING WAY!!! Burrow was always good but our attack was not made for him nor our great WR. Now, we are running a modern attack that Burrow played since Jr. high. Its about time we made some big changes and match a modern offense with our great athletes. Look what it produced. Do not tell me that old offense would work or produce these results because our players are a year older. Its scheme and play calling.

I'm not going to read all of the bullshite you wrote in your reply to me, but it's funny how upset everyone is with the truth. I'm sorry but at the moment, Brady has relatively no experience as an offensive coordinator/play caller. I understand offering him more money since he was able to alter the offensive scheme over the offseason and the offense accomplished a lot through the first 6 weeks. Since then LSU has also had a downturn in offensive productivity. Let's see him get through a season helping Ensminger and hopefully putting up points against the one team LSU brought him in to produce against before we kick Ensminger to the curb and offer Joe Brady the OC position. A pay raise is fine, and that should be enough to keep him in his position at LSU. With the thought that LSU would like to see you continue this into the following year. LSU will give him the opportunity to become the play caller and CO-OC. That should be more than enough with a pay raise.

Next season. Will have job offers doubling his salary from other places next season. Plus, with the dropoff in QB play that will ensue next season for LSU, his stock may drop considerably if he stays.

Cause he is not as delusional as you and he is not as integral to the health of this program as you naively assume cause you swallow BS like crack cocaine raining down from heaven.

He is a damn good coach, but he is not the leader of this offense. By the way, LSU already has his plays. So if he left to go spread his offense to someone else, it wouldn't matter. Not to mention, what's the odds that there would be another unselfish mentor like Steve Ensminger where he went? Not good. Not good at all.

No one is offering him a HC job worth leaving for and he would at best be making a lateral move as we can always name him OC.

If he sticks at LSU, he will probably be the next OC when Steve Ensminger decides to retire in a few more years.

Nonetheless, Ed O isn't crazy enough to get rid of Steve Ensminger so soon to promote someone that doesn't nearly have the experience being an OC, QB coach, and play-caller that Steve Ensminger has. As it is Steve Ensminger who coached up Joe Burrow for this season.

Let him be mentored by Steve Ensminger a few years, then we will see if he is OC material and I hope he is and then sticks around until Ed O retires in about another seven or eight years to take Ed O's place.

What makes you think he can’t do with MB just as he did with JB. Joe wasn’t exactly all world last year. Maybe Myles isn’t a Heisman contender, but he can lead this team to success.

You mean Steve Ensminger correct? As Steve Ensminger is the QB coach and Joe Brady is the Passing Game Coordinator who did a very outstanding job coaching up our receiver corps. But nonetheless, Steven Ensminger is responsible for coaching up Joe Burrow and transforming him into the inevitable Heisman winner he is today.

Someone told me we have an offer on the table of around 1.5 but no title upgrade as of yet. Tennessee is already making a run at him with more money behind it. This will come down to Ed Orgeron, will he be able to let Ensminger finally hang it up and trust someone else or does he want to keep someone he knows he can control with the excuse that Ensminger now knows what Brady knows and can run the same offense just as well. We’ll have to wait and see.

Put down the crack pipe. Word is all of the changes to Ed O's coaching staff for next season have already been decided upon and agreed on. While AD Scott Woodard didn't spare the checkbook to ensure that Ed O will continue to have the best coaching staff in college football.

Moreover, Ed O isn't stupid enough to get rid of his general in charge of the offense, Steve Ensminger. As Ed O trusts Steve Ensminger immensely. So whatever you are smoking, you need to put it down.

By the way, Joe Brady currently doesn't run the offense. He is the Passing Game Coordinator and works under Steve Ensminger. Steve Ensminger is the OC and he runs the offense and makes all of the final decisions. In fact, Ed O calls Steve Ensminger his general of the offense. Now, Joe Brady and Steve Ensminger work very closely together and their relationship has a very synergistic impact on the LSU offense and the team as a whole. But to imply that Joe Brady is the real genius behind the offense is far fetched, to say the least. So please put down the crack pipe.

He was mentioned this morning on espn radio as a candidate for fsu ... Just speculation but the nation is taking notice of what he has done with burrow and our offense.

Because LSU is going to pay him a shite ton of money that's why. Hell, I would go ahead and make him DC and get it over with. I also would be working on negotiations right now with him if I were AD at LSU. Get him inked in for a few years with a high base salary and some incentives. We need to keep him around I like Brady.

Joe Brady : head coach of offense, lol

Depends on his family values. If he likes it here and money is no issue then he can prove himself out for a couple years before moving on. But, I believe he will be led away by the money!

I don't think he's just gonna hop on the first head coach job that comes his way. As far as his career goes, he's very young and has plenty of time. He needs to just stay at LSU as oc, continue to perfect his craft on the offensive side of the ball, get used to being more instrumental in the overall operations of a program and learn from coach O while he's here. He also needs to get his feet wet and gain more experience in the recruiting aspect of the program and there's no better person to learn under for that than O. He needs to stay at LSU for another couple of seasons, then he will be ready for a big-time job. The worst thing he could do is go take the first job that offers him the hc position and end up at a program that isn't worth a damn, end up getting fired there, and then having his rep tarnished. Hes not gonna get a big power 5 job yet, he's not experienced enough. He has plenty of time and it's the perfect time for him to learn here at LSU.

You say best QB since Mauck. Joey B is our best QB since possibly Bert Jones - -50 years. I think he is better than Bert Jones.

Young offensive minds are all the rage in the NFL and Collegee, but at 30, that is pushing it. Especially with this being his only "coordinator" position.

He will be offered lots of money to be OC here at LSU. He won't get HC offers anywhere. He might get some OC offers or colleges kicking the tires, but LSU will match them.
