usually the day of and day after a front the fish dont bite
sometimes you can do good the day of a front if you fish that morning and the front comes in late afternoon or evening, but if you catch its usually decent to good but not great
any time you get a drastic change in temps you should wait at least until 2 days after the temp change for fish to acclimate to the temps and start feeding normally again but that will often be in new areas looking for deeper warmer water and only move shallow around mid day when its slightly warmer
go fishing but expect it to be windy as hell and bring fresh market shrimp and go sit on some cuts draining out into main canals and sit there and drunk beer until a big red or drum finds you

Right now that is what I would be chasing on Big Lake. Key is tide movement in a drain. You will be golden.

There will be plenty of fish in those rivers. Theyll be in some of the deeper areas, though. I just looked at my phone and my friend is out there right now catching trout.

Yea they found some at practice today so hopefully the cold tomorrow morning won’t throw them off and they can find something to weigh in

I caught limit and possession many a night ("before and after midnight": in Big Lake under lights. North to Northeast wind was perfect this time of year. Split tail chartreuse sparkle beetle always worked better than live bait there.

It wasn't easy but we at least found something.
Mess of sheepshead, 1 red, 2 black drum, and a bass. They wouldn't touch artificial.
