Who cares. Our schedule is set up to build for the post season. Win and we’ll be a-okay.

He says our biggest question is at PG?...with the loss of Bigby down low? So this guy doesn’t really know basketball.

This is what I imagine Dickie V looks like when he's tweeting about Will Wade...

From the outside looking in and if you don’t follow LSU every day losing Tremont is a big loss.
Losing Tremont is a loss but I think if you followed this team every day you know that you will be fine with Javonte/Skylar running the point.
Not having elite size down low will be the trouble but the hope is you just out athlete almost everyone and smother them with your perimeter length.

GOAT movie. Beavis was my childhood role model.

The movie was good, but give me the series. I never missed an episode of that or Married With Children. We would actually have watch parties for the 2 and laugh at each other laughing at the shows just as much as the shows themselves.

The longer we can play the no respect card the better

CWW addressed this issue in his press conference yesterday. He mentioned that having players like Bigby and Reid are a coaching anomalies to him. He is used to coaching mid-sized very athletic teams and had to make coaching adjustments last year to account for the bigs. The point is, the current size of this LSU team is what WW is used to coaching. Quickness will have to make up for size when we play bigger teams and the team has conditioned themselves accordingly. For example Emmitt is down to a svelte 220 pounds.

Our biggest question is point guard with Javonte Smart?

Yeah, that's just ridiculous.
The biggest concern is being out muscled by bigger teams that can match our team speed.

Good times.

I don't see Alabama and Auburn jumping ahead of LSU. Tigers have Tigers have great nucleus in Mays, Smart, Williams, Taylor and Days returning, Warford is a top 20 recruit and other talenteed newcomers. They will be top 10 to 15 at the end.

Losing Tremont is a big loss. I don't think people realized just how much he was asked to create (for himself and others) on offense. Now, Smart can be just as effective at PG, but in a MUCH different way. Smart isn't a guy that excels at creating offense for others. He excels at creating offense for himself. He just flat out finds ways to get the ball in the bucket.
Wade mentioned it yesterday, but the offense will have to execute differently with Smart at PG. They won't have the luxury of having Tremont bail them out when things go haywire in an offensive set. The margin of error decreases. BUT, I think a backcourt of Smart and Mays could be BETTER defensively. That's where LSU needs to make a jump.
Norlander (the author of the article) isn't too high on LSU this year (though he did pick them to finish 4th in the league). But that is just one guy's opinion. LSU's not going to be able to bail themselves out my just crashing the offensive boards. But if this team can shoot well from deep, they are going to still be very tough to beat.
