The Minnesota Gophers Coach says his 8-0 squad deserves to have Gameday come to their matchup with Penn State on November 9th instead of the “usual” LSU/bama matchup.

Give it to them. They do deserve jt. It’s always In Tuscaloosa every year. I wanna see how they represent. Being their first time I expect it to be rowdy. They’ve earned it. I hope it dumps snow too.

Of course he does. Having Game Day would be a big recruiting tool for his program. He's doing a good job. I have no problem with this.

Pulling hard for the Gophers this year, but this LSU-Bama game is the biggest college football game in a few years.

He's got a point, but Game Day is not passing on 1 vs 2 which is essentially a playoff game.

If GameDay goes to Minnesota, I would have no issue with it. The guy's right. How often will they get a chance to go to Minnesota for a big game?

I know Minnesota isn't really a huge P5 program, but it is kinda embarrassing to have the athletic department and coach of a P5 school begging so hard for gameday.

College gameday as a road show was literally born because of #1 vs #2 matchups. They are going to get absolutely embarassed by Penn State in 2 weeks.
