Honestly, they are too arrogant to be worried. At least, the majority.

They’re nervous because of Tua’s injury.

They're not worried TBH. Most of the Bama fans I've talked to looked at the Auburn game and think they will have very little issues with us.

Seems like they believe that their defense is as good or better than Auburn's and they can easily score more than 23 points against LSU's defense.

ETA: however there is a fundamental problem with this thought process. The transitive property does not work in CFB. If it does it's only by coincidence and it's a very rare occurrence.

Your all wrong. I live in Alabama and I have yet to meet a fan that is nervous. And Not one fan has said they think beating LSU will be easy. Everyone says how good LSU is. But none are over confident or nervous when it comes to lsu

That game was just what lsu needed, imo. It was the perfect storm to only score 23. It won't happen again.

about two full weeks before the kickoff. people forget that these are kids playing this game, and I think everyone in BR is putting down the xbox controller and talking xs and os. Bama rides real dirty we all know that and so I don't know if Saban still has the handle on all of that

There was a reason for that too. Given the fact that Auburn's offense was dog shite against LSU's defense the coaches decided to play the clock and field position game on offense instead of out scoring them a la Texas.

The ones that are arrogant are mostly bandwagon fans that weren't around when they lost to, say, ULM. The real Bama fans know that LSU is coming to give them all they want. I didn't realize until I was in my 40's that there are grown people who literally bounce from team to team, depending on who is winning. I, on the other hand, was at the monsoon thrashing we took from Miami in 1988.

If they're not confident or nervous, it sounds like even they are beginning to get Bama fatigue. They won so much that many of them don't care anymore. I seen one on the SEC Rant recently show no remorse over losing to Clemson because, "after 6 trips to the championship game, you're bound to lose some." The fricker literally forgot how many times they played in the damn game.
